I see the mustang and Camaro guys talking apples to apples......how can you figure a car that has a supercharger (to a car built w/out) is apples to apples? If GM were to do this, I am sure you would not be bragging about the difference then (yes, I own a cam and a stang, neither is supercharged, and neither is for racing)

Almost forgot, I will not be after a Z/28, owned many, ordered my SS as a preorder and will never give it up!! My wife is buying a 2011 vert (she wants a 6 cyl not and 8 like in the stang I bought for her)

It was probably confirmed by the GM engineers the photographer was talking to, so when Tran got the pictures he got also got confirmation that yes, this is a 2012 Z28 prototype. Likewise, it was during that exchange he probably heard the rest of the info that was included in the original post.

I gotcha. I thought they were merely going off of the sticker on the dash which doesn't right out say Z/28. I sure it's some form of it anyhow. I don't know what else it would be. I just hope they more the transformer hood on the real one.

Hell, I'll probably get one anyhow.

Besides the front facia, there's NOTHING to indicate it's a Z28. Test-mules are typically not visually accurate. The true design is probably behind guards down in the basement of the RenCen.
