I was just informed via my dealer....

My car VIN 2477 has been released from QC and is available to be shipped.

This does not tell me anything about when it would be shipped, or when it might arrive, but that as of 4/25/2009 the hold on my car was lifted.

Perhaps all cars up to that number are good to go? I am not sure, but maybe somebody with more knowledge could jump in and teach us something about this release and shipping!!

Vin 230 still lost, dealer says end of May according to DBC.

No way can he have the right info. Hell, they could build one in the parking lot quicker than that.

BTW, any idea how many they sold after we left the lot that day?

7 sold total after people seeing them that day. Good thing I told them to bring the cars to my dealer and not the house.

Unless something has changed today, 74 (Trent) 230 (Scott) 295 (HTWLSS) and 296 (Me, Nelson) along with a bunch more are still on this

Only reason i know 2477 was released is because my dealer pestered the DBC about an hour ago....

What I would like to read is, how many of the 200 cars / day produced over the last 6 weeks have been DELIVERED...not just to Forum members, but all pre-order, Dealer V6s, parade SSs, etc. One would think that if only a handfull are actually delivered per day, where is the bottleneck?

If the future production target capacity is 400 cars / day, what would be the point if the delivery pipeline is equivalent to a Starbucks stirring straw instead of a firehose...
