No Where to Run or Just too Scared?

It may be my imagination, but it seems every time in get in the SS I am surrounded by local or state police. I saw five cars on my 8 mile drive home from work today.

I have over 2000 miles on the car now so there is no GOOD reason not to stretch its legs. I absolutely do not want a speeding ticket and going speeds the SS is capable of doing may land you under the jail.

Is a radar detector the solution? Most will not save your SS if the man is using laser.
Do you take it to a track? I want to run it not beat the snot out of it.

What are you folks doing?

I have had the best of the best of radar detectors and nothing is 100%
I think they may save you about 60% of the time.

Can't go wrong with this. When the cop says: "Do you know why I pulled you over?" And you say: "No officer? Why?" He will likely say: "I don't know either?" LOL But seriously without them shooting you and having a printed out read from the gun it will be hard for thme to do anything in court if it even got that far!

You don't need to kill it when you take it to a track.

On-ramps on the highway are fun, too........

Printed out read????? No such thing. Radar and Lasers do not print anything out when someone is clocked. Before buying a jammer, make sure they are legal in your state. Jammers are illegal in Michigan.

I can take my car to near redline in second, hit third and engage the clutch while coasting to make sure I don't hit triple digits.

I have that paranoia too. I was crusing down the highway at 80 yesterday when I passed a Dodge crossover. When I looked in the rearview it had what appeared to be a small black box inside the windshield near the mirror. I slowed down and took the next exit. He followed. When I got to the end of the ramp I see what the little box was. A housing for blue lights and sitting behind the wheel is a big sum-bitch in a blue shirt. I drove he followed. I kept the speed limit and he finally u-turned.

This did not help my paranoia.

Well the fastest to go in any state by law is 70. So set your speed warning to 73 and do not go over it.

Of coarse this does not help when you have the only yellow Camaro SS in town and people call the cops on you for burning some rubber. This is where working for the local PD helps out allot.

Take it to the track. If you stretch it out on the public roads, you risk a ticket or worse.
