I have to say ALOT!

Right now, all I can say is the experience was awesome and we have a great foundation to build on.

Mike Judge, the Mole, the other workers at Martinrea, the guys at Oshawa, the Mayor..

Hylton.

You did a great job getting this first year gathering together.

Once the ball gets rolling with the stories, I am sure all those who didn't attend will get a rough idea how well we all gelled and nudge some more of you to come next year. Mike Judge joined us after dinner last night for some libations and he is one great guy!

Heinz, Dustin and Brian just got done with dinner at BW3 and we got Heinz on his way. I am at home relaxing taking the last 48 hours in. I can say that EVERYONE that I met was wonderful and we shared some great stories.

Thanks Oshawa, thanks to Martinrea for the GREAT tour, the food and the hospitality.

And thank you Hylton for putting your ass on the line and making the weekend great!

Mike judge and his co-workers were very impressed with the everyone who participated in the meet and greet. You guys drove for hours and hours to get to Oshawa, you drove your pride and joy in weather conditions that you would not normally subject your cars to and you never complained once about the rain and cool temps. As a result of such a commitment to GM workers, Mike and his co-workers would like to return the favor - all owners of 2010 camaros which participated in Friday's eveent will be receiving personalized lithograhs! Congratulations!!

What a great weekend!

Hylton, it was great to meet you. Thanks for getting this thing rolling! And thanks to everyone else who helped organize and get everything set up... Angelina with the dash plaques (and plaque for Hylton), Scott for the t-shirts and hats (at least I think that was you, right? too much beer ), The Martinrea workers for the bbq and the tour, Banshee for the beer, Hylton, Scott, and Trent for leading the caravans, Mike Judge, the mayor... The list goes on and on. For a "first year" event, this was a great experience! ;thumbsup: We absolutely have to do this every year... I think it can only get bigger and better.

The tour of Martinrea was very interesting to see how they are involved in the building of the Camaro. All of the guys there were incredibly awesome and supportive. I really felt like they really enjoyed having us there. Hopefully this lights a fire under the big Oshawa plant and they let us in next year!

And as for the Oshawa workers... All of the ones I talked to thought this whole event was a great idea. They've never had anything like it, and they really appreciated our appreciation and dedication to them and the Camaro. Many of them loved seeing our Camaros because they don't get to see the "final product" since they only see the particular part they work on. They also loved seeing everyone's personal touches and customizations.

And having the speech from the mayor of Oshawa... what a nice touch!! Everything was really awesome.

And of course, all of the other Camaro5 members I met... Trent and his lady (no comment necessary ), DGthe3 (and I actually remember your name now!), heinz01 (who finally opened up after some beer, haha), Angelina and Anna (crazy ladies!), LuckyNuts (and RRed Hot ), CamaroRick (with awesome dash ambient lighting!!!), Josh, Joe, Scott, and so many more that I can't even remember all of the names right now... maybe all of the beer we drank... All I can say is that everyone is so awesome and I'd love to do this again.

And of course, seeing all of our Camaros together... parking lots, line-ups, caravans... That sight alone would've been worth it to me, but everything else just made this event quite an awesome experience that no one should miss out on next year!

So let's start the planning early! Everyone get their EDL/passports ready! And maybe we can aim for July or August... hopefully it won't be cold and rainy, haha

I didn't get many pics because my camera sucks and it died, but I do have a few nice ones of the cars in the hotel parking lot. I'll post them up in a bit. But I know a lot of people took some great pictures, and I can't wait to see them all!

And... Thanks again to everyone involved! Members, workers, attendees... EVERYONE... THANK YOU!

Just got home and settled in. Sent Anna on her way, hope she doesn't get lost or hit a deer. Told the hubby about the whole event! So now I get to post!

Like you will hear from everyone that posts, all of the events this weekend were awesome! It was so much fun that I will have a hard time waiting for the next one!

It was a lot of fun to help with everything. Thank you Hylton and Scott for letting me help. You both really made me feel like part of the event.

I will post pictures that I have and tell more about the events of the weekend tomorrow.

btw Hylton - you are in BIG trouble for that picture!
