Ok, I have updates. SCAP is working with AP racing (Stillen), they have a new big brake system coming out for the Camaro. 6 pistion front and rear, 15" 2 piece hat and rotor with stainless steel lines. looks like SCAP's camaro will sporting it at SEMA
Hurst short shifter will work with both v6 and v8 6 speed manual trans. the Hurst shifter is 44% shorter throw and a touch shorter in hight, the kit is billet aluminum & comes with the round white shift knob. this is a must have for any camaro!
Clutch masters will be teaming up with SCAP to make a light weight fly wheel and high power clutch system. This is great news for the V6, group more power to the ground & quicker revs! this will be a direct replacement of stock no mods.
Nitrous Express is on board with SCAP, We are installing Nitrous Express direct port fogger system on the V6 camaro 125HP, with purge and bottle heater.
IForged rims will be building the custom one off rims, They will be the 22" AVUS forged aluminum 3 piece light weight rim. with a 305/20/22 rear tire, the widest tire you can get on a 22"!
Rksport is coming out with several carbon fiber hoods for the camaro. Styles from stock, high scoop and inverted scoop. there is a rumor that they might be working o body kit as well. RKSport alway has great styling, cant wait to see the camaro products.
Azentek's in car computer will replace the factory radio and help control the car. This unit will be custom installed into the cars dash. Azentek system i a DVD, nav, bluetooth, am/fm, hd radio, satellite ready, back -up camera and full computer system. All of this fits in to there double din unit.
Pedders suspension will be used on SCAP's camaro to ensure the most control with the pavement. Pedders set up has it all coilovers, adjustable hight & dampening, camber plate, polyurethane bushings and adjustable sway bars.
We at SCAP are committed to help bring new products to the masses. our goal is to build upon the performance and styling, Super car like! More to come!

SCAP,

Welcome to Camaro5.com! We exchanged some emails about a week ago about photographing the camaro. Now that I read all you have planned it sounds like it's going to be awesome. I can't wait to see the end product.

Any idea if these two will be available to the general public, or for that matter any of the exterior mods? I'd love to do those two on a Camaro, but more importantly the rear lights.

It's one of the few mods I think just looks right on this car.

You guys are goin' absolutely crazy with this Camaro. I love it. I can't wait to see pics of this baby. Definitely gonna be one of a kind.

PS: I'm definitely on board with you guys as far as cosmetic over power when it comes to customizing. I mean hell, this car already packs 426HP (V8)...add your usual Cat-Back and CAI and you can grab around an extra 40-50 HP +/- a hew HP depending on the company. Nothing wrong with throwing on aftermarket GFX/Body Kit, Hood, Spoiler, Wheels to give it even more attention grabbing looks. Personally I want this car to do well in the 'Tuner' scene.

I consider myself somewhat of a Hybrid gear head. I love my American muscle but yet my only experience in modding cars is my 03 Cavalier that I had...which you will see in how I mod my new Camaro. It will be a mix of Old-School and New school...of course done tastefully in that everything flows together!

the head light are ledheadlamps, com they are available right now, the bummer is they are custom installed. cutting apart your stock headlight housings. the rear taillight are also available, there are two parts two theses. the sequential led housing are classicleds and the lens and frame is fesler.the tail lights are also custom installed. the car is comming this week i will take phots of all the crazyness of this insane build and post them on here so you can see all that goes into the builds

I to love the cosmetic part of this build. but you missed that this is going to be a twin turbo V6. i know the rendering has the SS emblems on it. SCAP is not taking the performance lightly. our goal is to have 600WHP that is doubling the stock set up! the SCAP CAMARO should appeal to all. i tried to keep it as classic as possible but yet incorporate the latest trends.

I went to visit SCAP to see how their SEMA build was coming. He had a lot of his guys banging away on the build which even though he's got less than a month to get it finished, I don't doubt they'll get it done.

He'll be able to chime in and tell you what's going on, but some teaser pics of the progress. (Sorry the pics aren't that great, took them with my iPhone)
