I really enjoy the Kooks setup which I got used for a good price from a fellow forum member but I say just about any set of headers should do the trick with the relatively same results.

I got the TSP's you are considering. Got them for 400 with Hi-Flo's from another member. I dig em. Took me all day to install them because I didn't have the right tools. Runs like a champ though. Sounds like a beast too.

I just installed some 1 7/8 tsp headers and the install was very simple car sounds great. I don't know about the 2" ones it will be real tight on the steering wheel knuckle. I had a limited amount of space between the headers and the knuckle.

But, they will rub the steering column. I loosened mine, shifted it over, and tightened it. That helped for about a month. Now when I make a tight right hand turn, it rubs some. We're counting peanuts here though. Go 1 7/8s, you'll be happy.

There is an actual calculation to determine optimal tube diameter its not so much about when the torque is lost but at what RPM torque will come in coupled with the intended use or “operating RPM” range. The complete exhaust combination and engine air volume should be considered.

Kooks is the way to go! Great product and quality! Wish I would have gone with 2” headers instead of 1 7/8”, but other than that they have held up great over the past 4 years

Speed Engineering Headers, 3 years, zero issues. Why spend extra money when you don’t have to, use the extra cash for other mods

Check out speed engineering headers.I have kooks on my 2010 Camaro and bought speed engineering headers for my 2011 Silverado,I was so impressed with there headers, quality was just perfect,I am a welder and kooks has nothing on speed.304 stainless steel, spike inside the collectors,I paid 365 bucks for them with the Y pipe all 304 stainless.I paid 1200 for my kooks stepped header alone

I have the Texas Speed catted 1 7/8 lt's installed on mine. With a tune these headers are well worth the money. Here's the dyno results of the headers before and after the tune:

Ordered some from Steve at RDP, Stainless Power. He has always been great to work with. I’ll update as soon as they arrive. Love Steve and his customer service. Customer service always wins my dollar.

You got better pictures of how close to the steering shaft? That does not look good promising? Also those coils look dang close.... on street I wouldnt worry as much but I track so heavily the heat and proximity to steerig shaft would freak me out. After years I still cant find a header that makes me comfortable for track days....

Getting a great deal on a full set up of ARH from a guy at work who sold his Camaro. Still new in box. Picking them up this weekend. Going to get the headers coated locally and install only those. I have the NPP already. If it sounds good, I will probably sell off the exhaust later on.
