This is what I would consider a Fanboy response. What you consider to be ugly is considered very good looking to others. Beauty is in the eyes of the person doing the looking. With all the categories that the Camaro beats a Mustang in it would seem you would say it's faster vs. a biased "it's ugly". But that's what Fanboys do.

Now I don't like the looks of the new Camaro but I choose not to describe it as ugly. It really isn't ugly, it's just not what I prefer.

The BIG 5 reasons why Camaro is better than a Mustang

1 IRS Independent Rear Suspension

2 3.6L V6 producing 304 hp (Direct Injection)

3 LS3 6.2L (376ci) V8 producing 426 hp

4 6-speed manual / 6-speed automatic with manual shift

5 It does not have THIS hideous rear end!

I'm sure there are others but most would agree that's the BIG 5. Oh if anyone thinks its
just another Camaro Fanboy with a bias opinion and how the mustang looks. I can give
you a list of Mustang forums all agreeing how hideous that Rear End is

I like the new rear end, just wish it had less of a lean too it.

I can ask you the same question. Why are you on this website?

Your opinion on the looks is just that, an opinion. Saying it looks good does not make it look good.

I've done a good amount of research already on the Camaro since I plan on buying one next year and most of the info I am getting is proving that the Camaro "PWNS" the Mustang. So I just wanted to see what input I can get from you guys that can help me write my paper out. And also when I compare the Camaro to the Mustang I am comparing the (V6 Vs.V6 and the SS VS. GT) The GT 500 I feel should not be compared yet because I feel that it is the best among 3 (V6,GT, and the GT500) and once the Z28 comes out then that can be compared to the GT500 because chevy will have its best among 3 (V6, SS, and Z28) and I know the Z28 will be better. Your input will be very appreciated.
If the Z28 has the CTS-V motor it will not have forged internals. The GT500 does have forged internals and can tolerate a blower upgrade.

I personally like both cars. Both have their pros and cons. I just can't deal with the insecurity of the people who can't seem to enjoy two (or more) different cars from different manufacturers. I mean, I love my mustang but I have no problem telling someone with a new camaro that they have a great car. The reason I'm on this board is because I like the car and am considering picking one up.
I mean, if you refuse to consider a car because of it's manufacturer, you're going to miss out on a lot of things and life's way too short.
For those of you who actually own the new camaro and still feel the need to justify it by putting down other car makes, just relax and enjoy your new ride!
I'll be honest, my original desire to buy one of these cars has diminished somewhat based on these kind of comments. I just don't want to be associated with such a close minded group. OK, rant over. Sorry about that. I need some caffeine.

I think in your comparisons, you should value things differently when comparing v6 vs v6 or v8 vs v8. Torque and power are important to us V6ers, but they're even more important to most V8 drivers (except the people who compulsively have to own whatever the most expensive version is, whether the difference is in power or leather or emerald-encrusted instrument panels).

How is stating his opinion a fanboy response? If he thinks it is ugly, he can say so. There's no point in saying "it's faster," because everyone here knows it is. To me (and many) how a car looks is paramount. I wouldn't drive an ugly car, even if it was the safest, most economical car on the road. So if a lot of people think the Camaro looks a lot better, that is relevant.

Personally, if I was going to own a Ford, it would be a Mustang, but there have been just wayyy too many horror stories about Fords going around from my family & friends.

...how is THIS not "a fanboy opinion" if Arme's comment that he thought the Mustang was ugly is?
