Crisis - what crisis - age 47 and ordered a flaming orange inside and out SS (supposed to be here today !!!)

Only crisis is if you DONT succumb and buy the car

Life is not a rehearsal ! Go for gusto

All the best for you and your new machine

1. 36 is too young to term it a midlife crisis in the first place, and I'm not just saying that because I'm 33.

2. Scientists have determined that 87.9% of people who give you crap about your age and this car are JEALOUS that they don't have one.

It's true. It's damn true.

You are right on the money. People that tell me that I am too old for my Camaro are either jealous or wouldn't be able to handle the horsepower. Not to worry though, my winter machine is a Buick, so I have the old man thing covered.

Can't go wrong with that color and stripe combo!

Mine wasn't a mid-life crisis purchase--it was my 25th birthday present to myself! No kids, no wife, and no debt baby! Worked my ass off to get through college with no student loans, so I earned it

My wife joked to me the car was a midlife crisis. My response was "no a mid life crisis wasnt trading in my CTS for a camaro it would be trading her in for a 21 year old"

Was never brought up again

I had an '85 Z28 when I was in college that we traded in when the 1st one was born and then a ’90 IROC that I called the “grocery getter” when the kids were still small enough to ride in the back seat. This one however is the only one that I ever had that was brand new, much less ordered and tracked and waited and waited for. I am little embarrassed sometimes when I show it off, like I shouldn’t be driving a sports car at my age. My husband says I deserve the car and to enjoy it, which I do!!

I told my wife that the mid-life crisis car hasn't arrived yet. I'm thinking that I may have to make it the new Z28 (if/when produced) or a Convertible SS. Right now, I have a 2LT that is my DD.

A couple hours later my buddy is driving my truck away and I'm cruising off the lot in the sweetest looking Camaro I have seen yet. Pics tomorrow if I can pry myself away from driving.

Anyone on the fence about this car needs to get it.....the perma-grin when you drive it is worth a lot, and I think it has staved off a mid-life crisis for at least a few years.

PS...I'm 36 so it might be a little early, but this thing does knock about 15 years off the clock.....an amazing machine....I'm thinking about pulling a Paul Revere and going out for a midnight ride.....I love the HID lights.
If you think you are having a possible midlife crisis, what do you think this guy is having?

Maybe it is a mid life crisis for us older folks (43 myself). That's what muscle car owners do- they live it up! I did the same thing- went to just look at the cars and ended up driving one home- now all i need is a tat to match!

I confess, this year was the big 50!! I looked at that Camaro and just figured I deserved it. I love it and being 50. Life is good.

Heck I am 59. I forgot what midlife is.

Not necessarily feel younger, but I sure as heck appreciate this car much more than I would have when I was 18.
