Took my RS through the car wash, went in the local car show, then brainstormed all day about polishing the aluminum valve covers, tstat housing, etc.

Waiting to see the finished product and what you used.
Very interested to do mine.

No problem. Here are some pics. It turned out great. I am also in the process of plasti-dipping the rims and painting the calipers and I only have one side done. Its a good look at how they came out with the stock rim color and one with plasti-dipping.

I used a 1/16th inch rubber sheet from amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I also bought the Flexment Tire Sticker glue: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The only other thing you will need is to make the lettering template and a set of exacto knives.

It was time consuming to cut all the letters out but a fun little project that was budget friendly

Heat shield permanently removed, along with insulation along the top of valve covers. Time to polish, once it cools down.

Also, anyone know if a strut bar will still fit if I add intake manifold spacers?

Painted the engine cover and fuse box

Was going to paint the black parts of the engine cover with gloss black paint, but after spraying on the Adhesion Promoter, it gave the stock black plastic a kind of sparkly, metallic look, so I just left it like that and then painted the rest and clear coated it all.

seeking info

installed LED headlamp bulbs with canbus and chipset, everything worked fine, about 4 hours later I went to go start the car and there was no power, I waited a few minutes and the power came back and the car started but had a service stabilitrack on the dash, it then disappeared and I had to reset my driver side window, not sure if the LED's caused this or just coincidence?

So, your car has the word Camaro in ten different exterior locations?

Washed Then New Windshield

Got a really good wash today at Waterway. Supposed to be sunny for the next few days in St. Louis. Then on to Safelite to get a new windshield. Right after inspection and tag renewal 2 years ago, got a windshield crack from a rock on I-55 coming home from Chicago. Now that inspection is due again, had to get a new windshield. And it's beautiful and clear. The heads up display is more vivid. Also, go new Bosch ICON ClearMax 365 windshield wiper blades.

Drove it and tucked it away in my nearest Airport parking garage (highest level and covered) to prevent it being flooded. Before we head North because this hurricane and rain!

I never really noticed that but you are correct! That would be 10 times Camaro is mentioned on the exterior of my car.

I guess there is no chance anyone will ever doubt what muscle car I own!
