Tough call - I like the TA's a little better but the 406 in the Camino...hmm. Not like you really need the power in your driver but it never hurts either.

I would go with the el camino you could tow your camaro with it!! Gas is so cheap who needs good mileage when they have your money!!

Vegas was AWESOME! I can HIGHLY recommend the Bellagio! Stayed in the Penthouse suite and it was just right!

Never been to Vegas before, probably won't go back but I think everyone should experience it. My recommendation would be to do it young and single! some of my shooter buddies and I would call it, "A target rich environment!"

I have to say Barrett Jackson was a bit of a let down. After seeing Mecum's auctions, Barrett Jackson's attainable prices were extraordinary. Good environment for the seller, not so good for a buyer.

Sorry we missed you 2RS, we were tied up on the auction floor and after leaving there it was a mad dash to a show. We ran our azz'z off all week! Had a lot of fun!

I got a few dirty looks at the Hennessy booth as I was wearing my Lingenfelter tee shirt!

Got home late Sunday night, it will take me at least 2 weeks to catch up at work!

The wedding went well, all our guests loved the classic muscle cars we gave each one! A lot of bartering and trading going on at dinner!

I have barely gotten any miles on my car! All though it was a big hit at the wedding. Our photographer happened to be a huge Camaro fan. Told us he bought a big block Camaro off the showroom floor when he returned from the military. I think he said it was a 69. Of course it was followed by, "I wish I still had it!"

Funkie Junkie, of course I will be in Dixie in March! Wouldn't miss it for the world! Now I just need to figure out how to get my name at the top of the list!

Oh by the by, I should be seeing my custom wheels and tires from CCW any day now!

Gotta run, finishing up at the office, check in with you slackers later!
Windy
Congrats although marriage is not for me been married once lost everything and started over again. I told myself that I won't let this happen again but at any rate I wish you the best.

I thought for a minute that maybe you were not coming back or maybe you lost all of your travel money at the casino lol.

I really wanted to know what you thought about your transmission. I know where you had it sent and I am probably going to have LPE send mine there also. Did it make a huge difference and bark the tires between shifts?

I know your probably really busy catching up with everything after being gone but when you get a chance let me know what you thoughts are about the tranny upgrade.

Thanks

Tough call. Both would be fun actually.
But, the Camo would be fun, especially if it's going to be your "hauler". You have the bed of the Camo to throw "extra" stuff in, which may come in handy.
GOOD LUCK bud!

Me too, join the club. I made it back from the grave! I think it's ok to get married twice, but only divorced once. I have an advantage this time, I've known my new wife for over 25 years!
I thought for a minute that maybe you were not coming back or maybe you lost all of your travel money at the casino lol. I spent plenty of dough but only $35.00 gambling! Not much into it.

To be honest, I think I only have about 60 miles on the car since it's return.
20 on the way home Saturday as it was dropped at my office, this was in the rain.
20 to the wedding chapel Sunday, with my daughter in the car and my son following.
20 home from the chapel Sunday night with my new ball and chain.
I was able to run out for something (BS) Monday morning prior to going to the airport. In the one or 2 miles I went, I narrowly escaped a ticket 3 times. Flying sucks without your license!
The couple of times I "got on it" the tires instantly broke and then the computer kicked in and knocked the throttle back. By the time I realized I needed to shut traction off, I needed to park it.
When you stomp on it while rolling, the trans drops a gear and the car takes off like a rapped ape!
If you are only going to street the car, I don't know if you need to do the trans. The boys at RPM are certain it is a pretty strong unit.
I am planning on running some 18x11 wheels in the rear with drag radials. I want no slip and all stick! Needless to say this will stress the drive line.
I would recommend the upgraded half shafts to everyone. I upgraded to BMR's trailing arms but still have experienced wheel hop with a rolling acceleration.
The factory half shafts are mickey mouse and need replacement in my opinion.
Remember we changed my rear gear also! Once I get this thing to stick, it is going to be violent!

Adding a turbo for extra pulling power?
