November Hot Rod

Got to do a few hours of reading on the plane to and from Vegas. That's extremely unusual for me as if I am sitting in one place for long, it's behind the wheel.
Picked up a "Hot Rod" magazine, November and Hennessey smoozed there way into it with an article on there 2010 Camaro builds.
Quote, "Finally the big cheese in Hennessey's Camaro stable is the LS9 powered HPE700. At the time of our road test, it was still a work in progress, and electrical gremlins precluded fully giving it a proper beat down."
I guess it wouldn't make for good marketing saying it wasn't being tuned by them!
There is another article in there about how Hot Rod has been modifying a 5th Gen with bolt on's and using old school tricks to beat the times down. In their "mod car" they are using a Lingenfelter LNC-002 launch and timing controller. With a nitrous kit, Hot Rod states 514 HP at the wheels.

Sweet - I will just give them a call and get them from LPE then. I will have them installed here when I get the rest of my Pedders bushings installed. Looking forward to getting more stuff installed - even though I won't be driving it much this time of year.

What do you think for the DR's on the stock rims? Should I go with the 275's or 305's?? I don't really plan on using them off the drag strip but you never know.

you do know both choices suck in the snow..

Why not get a pickup and drive it around? Can haul the trailer and keep you out of trouble at the same time. you wont mod THAT would you? LOL

Brothers, we need to welcome a new "prospect" to our Brotherhood! At the moment he has just been lurking But I have a feeling we will be hearing from Big Bad John in Atlanta soon.
He is indeed another 650 Lingy Brother, and to add to his accolades, an automatic man!
I welcome him with open arms to the Brotherhood!
Now, back to our regularly scheduled program!

Some Cool news...

Read the Pedders thread.. they posted in a few threads. They are posting some numbers - along with Pic's of some pretty cute babes. The Pedders Camaro on the Bridgestone RE-11's pulled 1.38 G's around Gingerman on a 54 deg. day.. Awesome handling #'s. 7 seconds faster than the stock camaro.

The babes aren't too bad either.

Windy, you better get permission before viewing... LOL

Thanks Windy. There is no doubt all of us here lost our loved ones for a while but I am anticipating that she has become everything I thought she could be!!!

Have you put any more miles on your beast since your return?

No, unfortunately
Only have an hour or 2 awake at home a day. Also it's been raining here all week.
Hopefully some fun is in the forecast this weekend!

Did talk to a little birdie today about a certain brothers N/A motor! Sounds interesting!
