I hope you understand that we didn't produce the program - and we didn't get a chance to edit it.

National Geographic came to us with the request to do the piece -- and we're grateful that they did.

(there were a lot of inaccuracies -- and had we had a chance to look at it, we would have corrected them...)

Assembly plants are so different inside than most people think. I have not seen this episode yet, but it is very difficult to show just how huge these places are and I am sure it only a sampling of all the technology that goes into the build process.
Im in Ontario and have natgeo thru Rogers cable but I guess we have have different broadcast schedule because this was not on- Instead I had to watch "Inside a gunshot victim" checked the channel guide for the whole week and this does not air

great show, I just watched it on my DVR.

now I can't help but wonder on who got that car that the robot rejected and the guy said that it was "close enough"

if it was mine I would be waiting for him like this outside the factory

LOL J.K.

That makes sense. Nat.-Geo. should have talked equally about the V8's also. Other than that, it was awsome to see the amazing process. Wow!

i was thinkin the exact same thing the whole time! they're talkin about the "304 HP, 5.9 sec 0-60, 14.4 sec 1/4mi," and how these are all "muscle car numbers" but why not even mention the v8 version once?? im not by any means saying anything bad about the v6, but why not even acknowledge the v8s existence until the part where they were installing brakes? thought that was kinda weird. in any case, i have still watched the episode twice already and thought it was awesome both times! very cool show!!

My loving wife had it on the DVR waiting for me when I came home from work late last night. What a show! That factory is so impressive. I am glad I already have my Camaro, because that show would have had me camping out at the nearest Chevy dealer!

I saw my car on there being put together- 31514 .... ok, I couldn't see the vin, but I know my car from any other one for sure.

I did see some IOM in there, they look red in the factory, but when the camera got close you could see the gold pearl.

I thought the show was good. I would of liked to hear a little more about the the V-8's but it was cool to see the V-6 being built. Definatly a sick factory!!!

Does yours have a polished out spot on the right rear hip where something was in the clear coat? That was a very cool show for sure. My wife actually watched the whole thing with me.

Loved it! As I was watching it and thought...those guys on Camaro5 are going to have fit over the stats on the V6 being mentioned and not the V8…LOL I was right. You can see the angle to push the base car and how much of a “muscle car”… LOL… it is. The average watcher didn’t know the difference anyway.
