They do build both engines at the same plant.

The first look at an engine block was the V6, after that all V8.

Hey in July it wasn't too easy to find many v6 cars.

I liked the show, in spite of the inaccuracies. I thought they should have found a stock '69 Camaro for all of the side by side shots. Would have made more sense than that highly modified '67 (with the ricey wheels!).

LOL and some lucky SOB's car, which was victory red, had to have paint touch up on it too!! I bet people who get the victory red are looking at their rear fender going "is it mine???"

I did enjoy it. I caught the 2nd showing from 11 to 12 and it was amazing! Not because it was a camaro, but just cars being built like that in general. Wow.

Oh and in case anyone missed it (sorry if rementioned) they are showing it again on October 22nd at 4 to 5 pm. Yes, during work hours.

Mine actually was assembled in the Cybertron factory-all the Ralley Stripes delay for the TF editions was a coverup from the federal government. In reality it was metor shower that caused the delays.

Really good show but I wish the producers knew the difference between the v6 and SS. The kept mixing up the features and power numbers.

Nat Geo Camaro plant video courtesy of Jalopnik

It's not the entire show, but something to look at while waiting for it to appear on YouTube.

I'm just curious where do they build the engine/transmission found in the Camaro?
