Did you have the dealer "program" your 2012 Camaro radio to recognize the PDIM?

fiigy,

You have to take it to the dealer to get it programed with a service programming system. Attached is the install instructions and the last page describes what the dealer needs to do. It will cost you anywhere between $85 and $150 depending on what your service department wants to charge. Hope this helps and I paid $100 to get it done and it takes about 2 hours. You will not even get power to/through the PDIM until you get it programmed FYI.

Anyone know if the instructions on how to program go beyond page 4? The last page says 4/12. I managed to find a used PDIM, and the dealer can't seem to get the radio to see it.

Dealer said they figured it out after having to update their machine a couple times. We'll see when I pick it up. After all the trouble they ran into to complete what I thought was going to be a simple procedure, I don't mind the $150 fee.
