We got the call from our dealer today that we can pick our car up this Monday as soon as we can get to the dealer. The wait was horrible, especially the last part since it took longer to get the car delivered from the rail yard than it took to get here from the plant. Why is that I wonder? Anyway it was fun to be part of the TPW week of 9/28 members and watching everyone sweat the details of waiting. I lost more hair and my wife just got cranky. Hopefully the first ride home will sooth all the hurts and stresses. We will post some pics of our(I mean her baby) when we get it home and get it cleaned up properly. gotta add a few mods that first week also to show everyone. Comon Monday, its time to deliver.

I waited 2 days for the call exactly from empty status. My dealers 40 mins from the rail yard though!

Grats Mike happy for you..

As for mine its been in Gibson Indiana since last night..its the interchange yard so I bet it will be there for a few days. I estimate I will get my car maybe a week from Monday if Im lucky.. but hey grats to all of you..

Finally left Toronto last night and on the move. Hopefully will cross the border today or tomorrow.

All I can say ladies and gentlemen is that this 2ss is a BEAST.

Driving home, I got on it (never went past 4500 rpm, though) on an uphill on-ramp to the interstate. Long story short, I was doing 110 in third before I hit the end of the ramp. This car is scary-fast; it is freaking awesome. Couple that with the stares, waves, thumbs-up from the folks on the road and every store I stopped at, and this ride is more than I ever expected.

Also, no problems indexing my thumbdrive or hooking up to my Zune. I can't wait for the sun to come up so I can take pictures and post

Honeybucket - just the two times my wife has let me driver her 2SS, I agree, it is a beast. I'm glad you're having fun with it.

I was the one letting folks know there was another side to the story when it comes to break-in. Break it in easy. Yeah right! How? When I'm in her 2SS my right foot has a mind of its own!

Switching topics: It's really sad that I'm up already making plans to stalk the dealer's lot again! But, maybe if I'm nice, my wife will let me taker her 2SS.

Good thing the dealer is just 10 minutes away.
