Sorry to ask what I might easily google, but am I right in assuming L99 SS' come with 3.23? It sounds like if I eventually plan to go ProCharger (9#s or so), I should not go 3.73s? In the 4th Gens those were ok (A4), but they also weren't 6 speeds either.

Correct 3.27's are the stock gears in an auto. In a perfect world a set of HD 3.45's with a PD blower would be golden IMHO. Going with LS3 gears are an option but I don't think they would put up with the type of power we put out with FI. 3.45 with a PD blower or 3.73 with a centri.

I agree...3.45 with a PD, 3.70 with a centri...on an auto. KNow with either gear/blower combo, traction doesn't begin until 3rd.

I had 4.11s in my cammed , supercharged 2010 ss. They are fun on the street but wish I would have gotten 3.90s. Do it.

I have 3.91 n/a cammed car cut 1.60 at drag strip with 305/45/18 nitto nt05r

I just installed 3.91 in my A6. I just have bolt ons and went from 13.2 to 12.90 in the quarter. Best mod so far.

gnance 2, can you post your car's full setup? Dropping .3 in the quarter is big switching to 3.91s. I'm debating between 3.70/3.73 gears and 3.91. I mainly use my car for bracket racing (sportsmans class) at the strip

I just have full bolt ons with ported TB and smaller underdrive pulley. It is convertible though. Drag radials are a must with the 3.91 gears.
