I made sure I watched the episode. I loved it, always tend to have a blast when learning more about factories like that, plus seeing all those sexy camaros didn't hurt at all either. Just another way to scratch the itch of wanting one until I can in fact buy one.

There were several inaccuracies in the show like when they showed the hood of the Impala hood being stamped, and kept talking about the V6 model but showing the V8. They did what when talking about brakes also. It could have been done better, but it was interesting none the less.

I also noticed as they drove the red car that they were supposed to be following through production off the line, at one point it had a black dash, then they were in a car with the orange accents.
It's amazing how much of it is done completely by machines. Didn't seem to be that many people around. I would have liked to see the rear fenders being stamped. not a complaint, just would have been cool.

Agreed, if they can let a film crew through they can let some enthusiasts in.

I thought the painting process was pretty cool! I thought they built the cars in batches of the same color.

If possible, we'll work to get it arranged around your schedule, we'll pick the day you can't be there.

I haven't owned a GM for a number of years largely due to reliability problems. Although I was already decided on getting the Camaro watching this gave the appearance that it is very well built.

I Loved the show! I have been wanting to see how our Camaros are made since seeing the same kind of special on the Lexus cars. I know there were several inaccuracies, but don't care it gave me an idea on what actually goes into making the car. I would bet they filmed a lot of hours of the build and had to narrow it down to the 30 mins they actually got to show (due to commercials/breaks). I agree with a previous post that they should have made it an 18-hr mini-series - then maybe we would see an actual build and not pieces of several cars being built. Something that boggles my mind -- it only takes 18 hours to build the car but more than 18 weeks (in my case) to actually receive it?! Does anyone else wonder about this? Good show.

I was thoroughly impressed. The amount of attention that goes into this car is mind boggling. Actually the episode was what allowed my wife and I to go ahead and get one with a sunroof. We figured after that rainstorm, it probably wouldn't leak.

According to the show, both engines V6 & V8 are made in St. Catherines. Why then does my window sticker say "engine country of origin U.S.A"? I have an LS3.
