im going to need a good tuner before i can get any of this done. in CA i've quickly realized there isn't many "good" tuners here, which sucks!

Yes, 95 is probably excessive for a car tuned on 93 but, why ride the edge? I’m sure it couldn’t utilize 100 but 95, perhaps.
makes sense. that's important to think about "ease of use" not looking to complicate things at all. I honestly dont think im going to tune just yet. i'll stick with CAI and TB then i'll do exhaust / headers / lower pulley and a tune. dont wanna get wild with upgrades. its just endless i feel like but i know im not chasing HP so i dont care much for the pulley even.

that's not accurate my friend. Sure, there are some "shady" tuners, but there are a few good ones also.

Ryne Cunnigham, runs BRC Raceworks is who you should go to if you are in SoCal. I don't care what anyone else says, don't go anywhere else

Race-Gas

http://race-gas.com/

This is what we have tuned my car on to bring the octane up to 95 octane. As someone previously mentioned, 32 oz of this with a full tank of gas will turn 91 to 95 consistently.

This isn't your 8$ bottle of octane booster, these are $33 per can.
So yes, I pay an extra $33 for every fill up x 6-8 fill ups per month. I am perfectly satisfied paying an extra $200~$260 per month for power and no-knock
I've tried Race-Gas today and can confirm that it works very well.

I mixed 20 oz into 7 gallons of the crappy 93 that Shell happens to sell here in northern NJ, and it cleaned up knock retard completely, the entire spark retard graph is full of zeros. Previously I saw 0.5-2.5 at the top of 4th and right after shifting to 5th, almost like clockwork.

(This much may have been overkill and I'll definitely back off a bit next time, now that I see it does work.)

Yessir, I have seen the graphs and seen that it’s works. There are a few YouTube videos as well. And Booostane explains it via video on their website and shows what it does in various setups
