GM might sell more truck's if they focused on what a truck should be and not trying to make it a lux mobile. And I want to point out that just because you sell more car's does not mean you have a better vehicle.

If people will buy at a higher price my friend... U'd be crazy to not take their money. I can't fault Acura for selling a a Honda Civic in Canada as the CSX. Personally I'd pay the extra money just for the Sierra's styling over the Silvy's. Especially the Denali or the 2500HD.

As for buying a Tundra...
The Tundra vs Silvy/FSeries/RAM... A Japanese Truck that has been plagued with issues since it debuted, even Consumer Reports dumped on Toyota, and Motor Trend attempted to RETRACT their TOTY Award.... it looks like a Carp, has an interior that looks like something outta the ORIGINAL STAR TREK (Jimmy Kirk), and drinks as much gas as Paris Hilton drinks *** at a bachelor party

Not to derail the thread....but the Malibu/CTS/Camaro/LaCrosse/Cruze/etc....they're all VERY high priority vehicles. And the Volt is the single most expensive development program they're running...well over a billion dollars into it...for one car!!

So...maybe not so obvious?

most of the people buying the XTS either wont care or wont be able to tell the difference if it's FWD or RWD. if cadillac puts as much attention into it as it did to the new CTS (i know they will) the XTS will be a class leading vehicle, FWD or RWD.

I think U will see more detail put into it than we saw in the CTS. GM was on the verge of death when the CTS debuted. They are now in a renewed position.. and one ride in a Lacrosse will make an honest statement of how good the XTS should end up being.

If you had any idea as to what's in GM's future product pipeline, you'd be surprised.

I think money has been well allocated thru out the new line-up. The only issue I have had as of late is the inclusion of the 3.0L in ANY CADILLAC... unless there is a turbo attached to it. IMO, the SRX for instance, should be the 3.6L 280HP, 2.8L Turbo 325HP....

and a turboed 3.6L with 400HP (SRX-V)... Yup I said it

That's what I was getting at, thank you. ...I didn't make it clear enough.
