One more thing, are these the long term fuel trims on the chart?

Anyway I think I'm going to end up with the magnacharger intake, I hear it can add around 200hp
Yes they are Long Terms.

Yes that is what we got with our Street Brawler Package 561 RWHP.

Let me Know, I would like to do a buy in with Magnacharger to get the long deal so I can pass the savings on to my customers.

Buying them one at a time is Tying my hands.

Let's see where can I find 60 grand?

My one question for Ted:

The AIR FILTERs for each CAI, were they all pretty much the same (dry or oil needed) replaceable or can be washed and reused.

Thanks for your time and testing pretty awesome findings.

All Were Oiled cotton Gauze type except Fastlane was a Dry filter.

Fastlane just informed me that they are making changes to further improve they're system

E85LSX - Good luck with the maggie. I have ridden one and you will not be dissapointed. FYI, the only CAI that I am sure of that will work on your maggie install is the one from ADM Perf. Andy has several installed here in DFW area and Ted at Jennetty racing has installed on maggie as well. Ted or Andy could give you more specific info. Good Luck

Great work Ted,

One question, why not post the AFM info? Is it a big deal? Did you not record it? Do you not believe that this info is important? If not why?

2SSRS, Why didn't Vararam submit for testing? I know they have many intakes out there and are in the process of mass production. There are also 2 versions available if I am not mistaken. 1 for a car without a tune and 1 with a tune.

I was waiting for Vararam's intake to be available to order from them but was disappointed when I did not see them in this comparison.

Ted thanks for the time and work involved. How bad was the driveability issue with the new era? If the driveability has to do with the MAF placement should the vararam have the same issues? From the pictures on the other thread it looks like there would be even less room for the MAF on the vararam. And that 2SSRS guy is turning into a reverse salesman for me.

So the positive Fuel Trim #'s mean it's using more gas and the negative is using less?

I kind of thought that the new era and vararam would make more hp than the other units, but if its only about 5hp I dont know if thats really worth it to me. We will see if Vararam can pull out this mythical 30hp. If they do I will drop my roto-fab in a heartbeat for pretty much any reasonable price.

I would be very doubtful any intake can give a 40hp gain at the wheels.
