Took Journey on a camaro club cruise in the Garden Of the Gods today. Spectacular views of e mountains, and warm enough to put the top down for it.

Did a paint correction on my '15 RS. Got rid of about 70% of the swirl marks. Looks so much better now. Did it myself, I figured with all this down time I better get some stuff done on the car.

So out of boredom this weekend I decided that I wanted to see a little red peeking out from under the plastic engine cover.

From ugly to not ugly to peeking out.

Looks good man! I did the same with VHT Wrinkle Red paint. Just a little thing that helps clean things up a bit.

I wanted to go with the wrinkle but since I didn't have a heat gun and didn't want to put them in the kitchen oven I just went flat red.

Some years ago I had a bake-on gun finish in the kitchen oven thing that had more odor than I had led the misses to believe. Thus I have been banned from cooking Car, motorcycle, or gun parts in the kitchen oven.

I don't blame you. I got in big trouble for that one.

Did this instead of the premade bowtie inserts. Just wanted something different than everyone else.

I just bought this metal sign on ebay. Attached it with four stainless steel bolts with fender washers on the backside. I put a piece of butyl rubber on the backside of the bolts. Just in case it touches the hood. Then i knew it would not have any chance of damaging the hood in any way. I also ceramic coated both sides of it to help protect it.
