I used a hole saw and get a very clean cut for the damper adjustment extensions. I still have to go back in and measure the exact hole size as I want to order some rubber grommets, but I have the cut clear coated for rust prevention for now.

I lowered my car a lot with these. When I got my alignment they could not get me any better than -1.5º camber on the rear. I will need to get new camber bolts to get close to 0º. The front was no issue at all. I run them on almost full hardness currently. It is hard to tell from the shadows in my picture, but the rear is about a half inch higher than the front. Now I just need to get new wheels as I can't stand how they are tucked so far under the fender.

Klowny 1969's videos on Youtube were a big help.
I love mine. Installed last month. let them settle and then readjusted. I did not drill holes in the trunk though. I set them and left them. I have a speaker box sitting over where they would come through. I love the aggressive stance.

Saw this on a couple cars and decided to try it. The white pinstriping on the sides and front splitter. The rear window wing also a try. I think i like both.

Yeah I went back and forth on that decision for a while. But I figured if I did it right, measured multiple times, and didn't do a hack job that I could live with it.

I also made sure that I could order rubber plugs that would fit perfectly if I wanted to swap out to a fixed shock in the future. I am ordering set of rubber flex grommets for now and meade sure to seal the cut edges top and bottom. Some people just use door edge guard, but that's not up to par for me. It's not as large as it looks, at just under 2 inches round.

The rear torx bolts holding the brake rotors on were stripped by the previous owner. I drilled them out so I can adjust my parking brake better.

That smile on your face in the reflection says it all.

Man, that is one clean car.

For the camaro this works, but the EXT would be better. Or I know QJ makes extensions for the SLX as well.

I also used the pinch weld blocks. The front I lined up with the stock jack point and the rear was just a few inches short of the rear spot, but still worked fine.
Thank you. My work car and my kids cars are shorter wheel based as well (Civic, Civic Sport, BRZ, TC, etc) so I may be better off with the same one you have, but I’ll check out all of the models you mentioned and take some measurements. Thanks for reminding me about the pinch weld blocks too. I appreciate it!

I have the Legato axle back on my Camaro. For the price, I just had to try it. I liked it. Then I replaced the resonator with an X-pipe and I liked it even more. Now it’s behind long tubes, Hf cats and an x-pipe and I love the way my car sounds, and it’s still drone free. To me, the $150 was worth it just for the weight reduction, and the better sound was a big plus. I’ve spent thousands of dollars on upgrades since Legato and I still can’t think of a reason to change it.
