No Stinkin' Ramps!!

I really don't need any ramps with this 22' long x 3.5' wide x 6' pit....has saved me MANY $$ & hours of frustration over the years. I completely rebuilt the entire front & rear suspensions of my '79 'Vette...along with a bunch of other things over the years!!
The last pic shows the aluminum diamond plate over sections covering the pit!!

If you're lowered you can still use rhinos, just put a 2x10 in front of them, if you have to use two and screw them together. I like rhinos because they are light. Yea you can make your own and they would work great by those things have got to be heavy

Race Ramps, of course.

Specifically these:
https://www.raceramps.com/garage-ser...56-race-ramps/

Shorter ramps, like Rhino, get pushed forward by the air dam on my smooth garage floor.

I used to have home made wooden ramps, but these Race Ramps are much lighter.

I use rhino ramps for past years, just found these on this forum and going to switch to these some time this year.

I never considered ramps because they are usually skinny and you can’t see your wheels, and you can’t do any wheel work without having to buy more equipment to lift the car.
If you do a lot of car work yourself get (2) wheel chocks, (4) 3 ton jack stands and (2) harbor freight Daytona low profile floor jacks. These 8 things will enable you to do pretty much everything under your car. They will most likely last your lifetime. My 4 jack stands And jack have been with me for 30+ years and I’ve never needed anything else. With the Daytona jacks, it’s five pumps on each Jack and your front end is in the air...slide the jack stands under there for safety and go to work. I still use my old jack for auxiliary lifting.

I wish I had gotten the low profile floor jacks a long time ago. That’s my only regret. I know it seems like a lot of money now but they will more than pay for themselves many times over, in time and money, especially time. You can always make more money but you can’t make more time.

Oh, the Daytona box fits in the camaro trunk opening. You will be able to fit two in the trunk. It will be a bit*ch getting them out...they are HEAVY!

I got https://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/m...1540p.html#srp for my stock 2SS, and they work absolutely fantastic, nice long short lift doesn't come anywhere close to contacting at any point, and you can remove the incline once you get onto the flap part of the ramp so it gives you alot of room to work. They are also incredibly wide, like at-least 1/3 wider then I needed

I use the jack blocks that mount to the factory jack placement under the rockers - I don't have a "factory" jack or a spare so the blocks were perfect!

I jack the car, put a stand under the frame, pull the plug - and just because I lower the car back level while the oil drains.

After it quits dripping I put it back in the air, install the drain plug and change the filter.

I've got some Harbor Freight steel ramps but the front valance/bumper cover won't clear them.

I think that is the coolest maintenance set-up I have ever seen! You need to grab one of these signs (got mine at Hobby Lobby) and put it in close proximity to the cover.

Quicker than jacks and stands for the usual services, I decided on these instead of Race Ramps because the idea of foam long term didn't appeal to me. These weren't much more and I like them a lot. CR-7214 from Discount Ramps and a discount code got 15% off. Should make oil changes, services and general cleaning much easier. 1500lb rated per ramp.
