It don’t come easy.

Your right, that pic shows a cheesy job. Edges look terrible. But, done right, it stays on just fine. Mines been on for 2 years. No problem.

I did the same to mine before I replaced it will an illuminated color matched one. A little heat will make a big difference.

Got a 4 point alignment today to help the new BF Gforces last. Tomorrow, plan on retorquing header bolts and exhaust connections, which should have me ready for the season.

I just removed mine. It’s hard to get on and off with the strut tower brace anyways. It also holds in a tremendous amount of heat. But to answer your question yes, it will hold the front corner up from sitting all the way down.

Drove it to work as my daily driver blew out a radiator hose yesterday and it overheated and died . Let it cool and tried to start and sounds like no compression . Hopefully some diagnosis tomorrow , after I wash the pollen off mine and get it covered back up .

Never understood the catch can thing. Isn’t that made more for DI?

A lot of people think so. The catch can "thing" goes into the PCV side of the system. So that any unburned anything gets put right back into the stream to try to be burned again. That includes water vapor, oil, and any chemicals like sulfur and so on. Which can actually damage the cats on a car. So if you put in a way to take it out it does nothing but make the burn cleaner and more efficient

Not today, but got some new tires on my car, then helped a friend and changed out her battery (Original on her 2010).
Battery date stamped 2009, no complaints at all about getting that much life out of an original battery.

Removed the front badge without removing anything or breaking any of the tabs off . I only used a flashlight , a trim removal tool to hold it out while I unclipped , and a wooden paint stir stick that was long enough to reach the tabs . The new blacked out ones are in the mail .

Apologies , but it was pretty simple . I watched a vid somewhere to get the process . I just used different tool to push the clips .
I started with the clip on the drivers side pushing down on the clip while pulling emblem from the front . It came free pretty easy so I put the trim tool behind the emblem so I could apply pressure while pushing on the upper center clip . Once it was loose the last one was easy and I just worked it out from there .
