That sucks man! I've started building my new short block but I'm scared to find what carnage I have once I pull the stock motor. I have a ventilated block. I'm hoping my heads arent trashed but the cars been sitting for 3 weeks now. Good luck with the build!

No idea. Wasn’t the first hard pull that I did since I got the car back from retune. Boost was good, AFR was reading good on the gauge as well as my dash logic. Dash logic was reading 81% E. Internal components probably just said peace out.

Hey Rupert
Sorry this happened. I blew my motor in nov 19. The car sat drooling oil for two months while I tried to decide what to do. I also had an extra vehicle and did not need to do anything quickly. In case seeing other carnage pics will somehow make you feel better (I have plenty more), here is the #1 and #2 pistons. |
