Funny....My 350z had 300 hp and it was a v6...now compared to my V8..it was a dog..just sayen.....I remember this guy i knew who came home with a $35,000.00 Toyota 2 x 4 4Runner..Just didn't make sense does it..Kind of the same thing isn't it? IMO it is.

But hey it's ur ride so enjoy it. You don't need to clarify your V6 to me. Do you?

The V6 is nothing to sneeze at. I drove one at my dealer to get a "fix" while waiting for my 2SS. It is a sweet car and had plenty of power plus turns heads the same as an SS. You've made a great choice at your age. And yes, you can upgrade later.
With a few mods it will kick ass on most factory V8s, hell, it already does that.

This is the first time I've noticed how well the headlights are accented on an IOM.

Some people don't plan on racing or showing off how loud their engine is - I personally just want a kicka** car to drive, I love the Camaro, and the 2LT is what I can afford. Not only in base price, but slightly less for insurance and a crapton less for gas (won't need premium and the MPG is better). With the 2LT, my loan will only be 4 years (putting half down), and I'm 23 years old. I don't want to be in a crapton of debt so early in my life, and I think a 2LT/RS Camaro is a pretty kick** car for a 23 year old (or heck, for any age). I have the rest of my life to buy a V8 if I want one.

Anyone else tired of the V6 hate? :/
Dude I here yeah, but to tell you the Truth I don't give a rats ass what other people think. To me, my car is the coolest thing on 4 wheels to me and that's all that matters.

Would that not be hypocritical?

I don't intend on buying the V6 model myself. But that's because it's not what I want, not because I think it's a "fake", or bad Camaro. It's actually flippin' awesome!! 304hp, and 29mpg? Who else can make that claim!?!?

I also realize, however -- that some people are just so old-school, they look down on anything without eight cylinders. Then there are people with self-esteem issues who need to be able to say "I'm better than ______" to wake up the next morning. It's sad, really. I try to urge these people when I have the opportunity, not to hate, but to get along with the "V6 people". For God's sakes, it's STILL A CAMARO.

On the flip-side...some of you "V6 people" need to roll with the punches. There's no way to stop all the bad-mouthing, because of the nature of some of the people above...so you need to rise above it. YOU know you've got a kick-ass car. YOU like your car, and YOU paid for your car. YOU have no regrets, so why bother caring what anybody else has to say? Take the high road....and do it in your V6 Camaro.
