I'd put GPI's ported/rod modded intake manifold on at the same time. With your mods, that cam, and the manifold, you'd have just about a perfect setup...oh, maybe throw in an Underdrive pulley. I say that because 2010/2011 cars don't have electronic steering so we get about 8 RWHP from a pulley swap.

Wow 8 rwhp from a pulley is nuts! Thanks for the info.
after the cam swap here’s what I was planning next
3.91 gears
Gpi ported heads and intake and upgrade the lifters

Sounds awesome! Ya, the 2012+ don't gain as much supposedly from a pulley swap so in a way it's nice to have a 2010.

You usually get 5hp off a underdrive pulley.

It seems this cam makes good power, sounds good, and isn’t max lift or duration
One of the best all around cam for a daily out there for the average person.

Bo, the dyno sheet I saw showed a 8 hp increase and I believe GPI said it was proven 8 hp. Now, this was on a 2010 or 2011 I believe, so I think the 2012 up was less.

I used to run a tsp stage three back when it was 235/239 and had good lift so it required .675 springs at the time which where a little stiff, it was a good cam but I made sure to break it in right with br30 driven racing oil and used ls30, I sold that cam and have used a commotion cam now for years on another engine.

My cam measurements are fairly similar to what you call the titan 2 now as things change over time, I use this can to be good for torque daily driving and to be easier on the springs also yet they have to be changed out eventually even with lower lift as the cams that can take more stock like springs and less often changes are the ASA cams and they will have a nice lope but not the need to change springs. Many people pick a new engine for a older retro ride with the cam in it being the asa cam. My tuner tommy wong has installed lots of them.

You will find even with what is thought of as a lower lift cam spec you say is the titan three you should have good torque more usually with its design than say the one I used for just all out higher hp, but you will have to have a 950 idle even with the titan 3. The deal is its still going to sound like its lower.... It will still have chop, almost all aftermarket cams other than stockish will require a higher idle, as in the hot cam which is not so hot and the ASA cam which is a racing cam used for a class which is a lot more popular and has actually lift stock or lower....and makes lots more power with just its duration as stock duration is crap....

The asa cam comes in what is called a 525 hp crate and then there are also places that change that cam slightly and make it slightly better and thus much longer spring life as the lift is not so high. Stock our lift for our roller cams is high as the highest race only flat tappet cams of yesteryear...……

here for a listen to a howard which sounds too low idle lol.....

and btw with a higher idle your alternator will be happy even with a underdrive pulley which BTW makes like no power gain but can be really nice for a engines health if its like a fluidampr or ATI which will remove the vibrations a stock internally balanced engines such as ours pulley cannot remove...because its not a harmonic balancers its a chunk of steel...…… Good Luck what ever you choose...…… And btw when it comes to claims of manufacturers talk is cheap...… otherwise we all would have little hair dryer blowers ran to a electrical connection...……. OMG here for a laugh heres ones with no motor now to spin like a pin wheel …..LOL imagine having one of these POS in your intake tube to fall apart and suck things into your engine!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL have a nice day as I say talk is cheap...…..

I was looking at the stage 2 and 3 TSP cam and the stage 2 made 568/506 and the 3 made 572/507 on the engine dyno, however stage 2 had average hp of 430/471 and stage 3 was 429/470 and the F35 made even less average at 428/467. It seem the only difference between these 3 cams would be low rpm drivability and larger cams just pushing peak hp further up the rpm range.

right, the cams can only do so much

OP, what cam did you settle on?

I have been looking for something stealth myself. Something with barely noticeable idle characteristics but yet still make power under the curve.

I looked into the Livernois 1c, but a shop is steering me away from that cam thinking I will have went bigger.

Ended up going with a tsp f-35. I haven't driven it much yet and I think I have a tune issue. So can't comment on how I like it

For the Record:

I installed this cam

Cam Motion LS3 Stage 3 Camshaft (220/230-117+4) would probably be similar to 2c cam but lower lift.

I was quoted for it to make 35 to 40whp which ended up being laughable. It made 23WHP over FBO baseline.

It was a problem with my selection criteria. Wanted a mild idle at the time and broad performer. It certainly is barely lacking under the curve a good on a daily driver.

Ultimately I am changing things up likely with the SS3 Ls3 cam for more power and hopefully performance.
