the caddy is gonna be faster than the camaro. i remembe reading the road and track that they were (maybe still are who knows) going to use a similar engine/supercharger combination in the CTS but the camaros would be a "detuned" and less powerful version. plus the CTS will be at least 10 15k more than the top tier camaro. its not really fair to compare.

I know its hard to get the marketing right with Corvette, Camaro and modern Caddys, but doesnt it seem strange if a Camaro "muscle car" cant hang with a caddilac? Im not including XLR as thats the Vettes new young brother, but GM should have built the Camaro to have a edge over the CTS line. Since they are not they better give us the dang Z28, because im going to be pretty flustered if someone pulls up at a light and burns me with a CTS.

why? I mean you expect to beat a BMW M5? hmmm the CTS-V is in a different price rance and is setup for luxury but with major performance. just like a BMW M5. . .I don't expect someone that likes BMW M5's to want a camaro over that but I would expect them to be interested in a CTS-V. different class. . .

No i wont be bothered if a base vette takes me for a ride in a SS. Im just saying marketing wise should go like this for performance;
1. Vette 2. XLR 3. Camaro 4. CTS |

so are you comparing a CTS-V or CTS? two different performance and price ranges. and you will see the camaro beat a CTS but not a CTS-V.

The vette has a ZO6 and ZR1 that will do circles around the XLR, it should be the same for Camaro. |

22k Camaro - 33k CTS 28k Camaro - 42k CTS 45k Camaro - 67.5k CTS There isn't really a car to compare to the SS, except maybe a loaded CTS DI.
