Yes grip is good!
I ran my car today for the first time with all the computer BS shut off, burned the tires for 2 blocks!
I have a set of wheels and tire for the strip. CCW forged wheels and Mickey Thompson drag radials!

WOW! Are these just for the strip? What do you run on the street? When I drove RS's car today, all was fine and good with traction control on, but with the T/C off It's crazy, so I was thinking there's gotta be some street tires that may be better. Please help.

There may be something somewhat better than the Pirelli's, you can change the rears to something wider like this CCW wheel. Bottom line is, the stickier, the softer. So streets will eat em up!
Best thing to do is to ease into acceleration on the street, and be careful when the roads are as cold as they are now!
These MT's can be used on the street, just don't know how many miles of life they will give ya!

Thanks Guys What about the Bridgestone Potenza's? They use them in the GTR's, and they're supposed to be really sticky.

Yeah well since I don't have my camaro at the moment, I guess I have time to research tires. But your's look great for the strip, Windy. So I might have to keep 3 sets of tires... One for the strip, one for the road generally, and one for when I race the Oral surgeon next door for pink slips.

Kevin.. We NEED to see that stuff.. I have already been asking Tim for the LPE GFX for the Camaro.. Still too early for pricing.
I will get plenty of pictures at SEMA of the RJT with the GFX. I am definately going to have to get these as soon as they are available. I am really wanting to see what the hood looks like as well. I thought about doing my car subtle but after seeing all the good stuff out there - it's on!!
