Local Rally Stripe Painter Suggestions?

Sorry to be tardy......

Mine is in the shop, all alone in the dark as we speak. She sits naked, with no hood or trunk. this guy is an artist. I don't think I am fully using his tallents, but we are keeping it conservtive. You should stop by and check out some of his stuff. I am picking up a spoiler to drop off tomorrow and should get the car back by Friday, will post pics.

Then off to SEMA Sunday.......Yeah!

I am making plans to do a few more things after SEMA to better utilize his tallents!

Ok, I got the car back this afternoon, did not wash it, just knocked the dust off for pics.

This was an old school job. I went in wanting gloss black rally stripes on the car. Richard said "ya just want black paint on the hood?" "Any monkey can do that!" "Let me have some fun with it." He is an artist that paints, but he said he would keep it old school. He will go wherever you want him to.

The flames are ghosted in silver metallic and he ran bars length wise underneath. You cannot tell unless the sun light hits the back trunk area, but there are silver squares in the blackout between the tail lights.

So, just to be sure, that was $1200? Oh, and I plan on taking it over just after dealer delivery. how much tiem does it take for a job like that? When that's done, then it's for to windows tinting! ...

The cool thing is....you cannot copy! Each one is done by hand and will be slightly different! Have at it! Any color stripes and the color for flames will change depending on stripe color. You might want sculls, dead people, blue ovals, or something different.

It is $1200 for rally stripes cleared in. It was $200 for the extra ghosting & flames, but well worth it! Give him 5 days. I dropped off monday morning and picked up 2pm friday.

Can't wait to see your car & pics!

Great point, if he's an artist then each one will be unique in its own way! Yours is the nicest I have seen so far ... More that stock, but not over the top ... Very clean.

Yeah, I am 11/2 TPW so, on the edge of giving birth! It's becoming very real in my mind now.

I was a bit worried about the stripes and finding a good place, hence my starting this thread, now I am really glad I asked ... So, the excitement builds!

Grille is from E&G Classics out by you in Maryland. They now have it with a black surround for you guys with the black cars! Tell them Camaro5 Dave sent you!

I did the install myself, floor jack, two jack stands, 7&10mm sockets, flat screwdriver, drill, blanket, and about 4 hours. You have to remove the front bumper. I have removed bumper twice since and can R&R in 40 minutes now that I know what I am doing.
