Rally Stripe Question - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Okay this is my first post , and I wasnt going to buy a camaro until a friend of mine ( a GM exec ) who I was vacationing with in Disneyworld took me up to the VIP area at Epcot's Test Track , then he preceded to take me back stage to see the AB Camaro before it was displayed and that was it , I was hooked ....I have owned many camaros in my past and never thought I would consider getting the 2010 , well the deed is done and I will be getting a 2SS with RS MXO in Rally Yellow , Now my question to all of you is are the stripes flat matte black or do they have a gloss to match the paint ??? I know from searching that they are not clear coated over but do they shine ...I noticed on some of the pics I saw of the convertible they shine ... So if you have pictures that would be great ... Please Help ...LOL

Well, these pictures of the Bumblebee concept Camaro http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7624 show the black stripes as glossy.

The quality of the pictures here http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...?t=8624&page=2 make it hard to tell if they too are glossy, maybe. Beyond that I can't help.

Personally, I prefer glossy over flat, possibly even metallic for my Inferno Orange Metallic from an aftermarket graphics house like ridergraphix.com

MXO is the RPO code (Regular Production Option code or factory installed item code) for the auto transmission.

Bringing back an old thread because I can't find the answer to this question, even when using search. This has been asked by multiple people in many different threads but the discussion always moved away from it before there was an answer.

From a recent thread, we know the hockey stripe package is matte black but what about the rally stripes? I don't think we've ever seen a Camaro with the factory black rally stripes.

Does anyone know for certain if the black rally stripes are matte black or glossy black?
