OK - this is a VERY long and informative thread, and I am considering upgrading my rear end in my 2014 SS L99. I don't think I say anyone show the % gains going from the 3.27 to the AAM 3.70s. I live in Golden CO, so altitude has stolen the "quick" I had at sea level, so considering a gear swap and corresponding upgrade to my Janetty tune to accommodate - looking at 3.91s clearly a little less torque increase.....? anyone??

Actuallly - perhaps this is good enough - 3.70's close to the 3.73 info from Page 1 reposted here
By upgrading the factory 3.27s in the stock A6 equipped Camaro SS to the 3.73s you will realize an equivalent torque gain of approximately 15% or 61.5 lb.-ft. of torque and cruise at 2050 RPM at 70 MPH. By upgrading the factory 3.27s in the stock A6 equipped Camaro SS to the 3.91s you will realize an equivalent torque gain of approximately 20% or 82 lb.-ft. of torque and cruise at 2150 RPM at 70 MPH. By upgrading the A6 to the 4.11s you will realize an equivalent torque gain of approximately 27% or 110.7 lb.-ft. of torque and cruise at 2250 RPM at 70 MPH. By upgrading the A6 to the 4.33s you will realize an equivalent torque gain of approximately 33% or 135.3 lb.-ft. of torque and cruise at 2377 RPM at 70 MPH. The A6 transmission is geared more aggressively than the M6 SS so we have found that 3.73 is a great gear for most A6 equipped SS applications.

Unless you've got a power adder, there really is no good argument (other than fuel economy) for anything less than a 3.91 gear ratio in a 6L80 5th gen Camaro. It's the way to go, without a doubt. I've got a good read on it with some good data for you to take a look at:

So I was looking at a calculator for gear ratio to mph. And I put in my stock numbers and things didn't add up. I currently have the transmission shifting at 6400 rpm in first to second at 30 mph and when I'm cruising at 70 mph it is at approximately at 2100 rpm. My question is, does this sound like 3.91's to you guys?

I was wondering what all needs to be changed in the tune for 3.91's. I see under the speedo tab it has a gear ratio and tire size. Should I change it from 3.27 to 3.91? Also is there anything else that needs to be changed?

I'm considering putting 3.91 gears on my 2010 SS M6. Will the SS handle thus change with everything else stock, or are there other parts I should change to handle the additional torque? Thanks
