Dry grip is right there with the Goodyear. Wet grip is better. Where the new Goodyear shines is when you get them really hot on track. The Goodyear hangs in there for more laps where the Michelin gets a bit greasy when it gets really, really hot.

Good question! I have no personal experience with the new Conti. Just anecdotal from those around me.

At street speeds and temperatures, both the Michelin and Continental offerings are great choices...

But on the track, towards the latter half of a session where tires get much, much hotter...the Goodyear's come into their own, and the others get a little greasy.

You can't have your cake and eat it too, with tires...

Total agreement. The Goodyear is the HOT ticket! End of session and they just hang in.

I don't think the Goodyears that come on the new ZL1's would be considered "crappy".

Will the R888r's in the 325 fit? I kinda have those getting delivered tomorrow...will the tire shop be able to install them properly? When looking for tires I thought I should just go for the widest option since I make 740whp

I have 325/30/19 in rear. EDF runs 345s. Just move the harness, you’re good

Tire compound matters more than width.
