Now that you mentioned this, I do recall seeing this swap being done because they didn't like the "mail slot". And that's where a few of these aftermarket companies came up with the "mail slot delete" piece you could buy, instead of the entire fascia.

I don’t know much about the history, but it seems the least likely series of events is someone put the V8 into what was a V6, but I don’t know for sure since I just got it.
If it is a stick car, it will be an LS3, if it is an auto, an L99. Looking at the pic again, it looks like whomever had it also put the "phantom" grille you could buy that covers the stock grille. The only bad thing about having the V6 front fascia on there is none of the cool aftermarket front splitters for the SS will fit it, and there are not very many available for the V6 front.

I asked your opinion on the black that I had painted it, and of course you were right. The black spoiler didn’t “fit” the look of my car… just poking fun at you..

This is a purchase that evokes emotions, so I believe it was worth it. The Camaro looks fantastic! My dad promised to get me the same one if I got into grad school, but I had to write a research proposal for that, and that's when I took a little shortcut. I actually used https://edubirdie.com/research-proposal-writing-service, which my friend had checked before. After receiving high-quality papers, I did get into grad school, and it looks like I'll soon be the proud owner of a Camaro.

All cool my friend. Kinda figured that.. lol. You just have one sweet looking combo, and the black would have messed that up.

Oh that's cool!! I had the same thing on the back bumper of my 2004 Mustang when I had it. The letters were embossed in the bumper, and had reflective grey lettering in there. Cool mod you did there. Never seen that one before on a camaro. Also like the fins on your diffuser..

Thanks. yes, I had the outline letters for the embossed lettering on the back of my Cobra when I had it. that and the cup cars with the lettering on the back bumper gave me the idea.

Yes sir, agreed. I would have never though to do that. Oh, and forgot to mention that plate frame, very awesome!
