2011 Release Date ?

I'm a new member to camaro5 (obviously). I'm sure the answer to this question is somewhere in here (since it seems about everything else is). Does anyone know when '11s may be available to order? I'm currently deployed and absolutely CAN NOT wait to place an order for an SS/RS... Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

i'm not exactly sure on the date, but i think i read sumwhere in the March-Summer area is when it would be coming out, so they'll prolly have orders before then like they did for this one...but remeber, it comes out in 2011, not next year

don't know how valid that is... thought they were being produced late summer? New model year usually comes out a few months before the actual year

The change over for the next model years have always happened at the first or second week of July. Orders for the next model years usually are accepted at the end of July or beginning of August.

To the best of my knowledge, that is not allowed. You cannot introduce a new car these days so that its model year matches the calender year. Don't ask why things are this way, they just are.

Question Will the 2011 Camaro be just like the 2010?

I got to wait till I'm a Senior next year to get the Camaro, so I will be getting the 2011 Camaro (hopefully sometime around my 18th Birthday in October, ugg to long I don't want to wait), so I'm wondering will it be just like the 2010?

I'm hoping that much wont change cause I want it to be just like the 2010 because I think the 2010 is awesome.

So what changes would be made for the 2011?

The looks won't...powertrain most likely not... the options might be shuffled/deleted/added, however.

But there's no official writeup anywhere. This MYs still got just under another year to go before they switch over to the 2011s. Chances are, they don't even know for sure, yet.

Ok, only thing that sucks is that the Aqua Blue is gone, now I'm stick either Normal Blue Or maybe Green (if they have green by then).

I asked my dealer when I was ordering a couple weeks ago about the colors that will be new since some are going away...they said that they won't know anything until around April.
