Its a 42" cut S100 mower, just got it a few weeks ago. Moved into a house on an acre... got tired of the old push mower in a hurry with all that space. Actually only mow about 1/3rd of that, but still, pushing took me a few hours, now 45 minutes and Im having a cold one.

Finally gave up and took it to an A/C shop to have them diagnose the issue with it not blowing cold air after trying a ton of things myself.
Made a thread about it here https://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=626709

Need to replace expansion valve I guess.

I recently had the same issue. Sounds like you have a good thorough shop there. First place I took it to wanted to replace everything to a 2,000 bill. Took it to a shop I trust a little farther away, and they replaced that expansion valve for less than 300 bucks. Fixed the problem.

Good to hear this was your result. Hope I have the same experience after I swap it out. Looks like a pain to reach up in there but I'll figure it out.

This morning I took the time to vacuum the system, replace the thermostatic expansion valve and recharge the system. Really wasn’t too bad replacing the expansion valve with the right 3/8” extensions.

$65 part and a few hours work using the loaner vacuum equipment from autozone and all is well.

Very happy to report that my a/c is working as it should, ice cold, again.

Good feeling after dealing with this issue for so long and spending so much time trying to chase down the issue.

Z/28 Spoiler

Painted and installed the Z/28 style spoiler myself. Turned out pretty good.
