My Powerstop rotors rust badly from a friggin car wash! You can wipe most of it off with a rag but then, I never drive mine in the rain. Once that 'cool looking' zinc coating wears off, you get Chinese who-knows-what kind of metal beneath it.
I think there was a reason they put the dirty Brembo's on our cars from the factory. It was just the best all around performance brake with the least amount of issues.

I have the Z 26 setup also and it wasn’t until almost a year I got minimal squeak in the morning but went away pretty quickly. We use the Z17 version of the power stop pads at the dealership if we need to use aftermarket pads and have had great success with those. I used them on the Camaro until I switched over the the Z26 pad and slotted rotors Use the Z17 on all my other cars though with no issues. Might give them a try to solve your issues
