In regard to the ongoing discussion, I recall mentioning here, my disappointment in the BA stereo in my 2015 after I bought it. It wasn't totally crappy by any means, but I really expected more, considering it was an "upsell" option. The Shaker 1000 system in my 2009 Mustang blew it completely away. I mean, absolutely no contest as far as volume, bass and full range of sound.
