No Dealer Has ANY Allocations for LT RS Right Now?

I'm admittedly still a newbie with this entire ordering and tracking game. I thought I was starting to understand, but then I heard something new today.
Background: I'm trying to beat the deadline for the ABM phaseout, but have a real obstacle working against me - the constraint 0-10% on LT with RS package. I have my order in with one dealer (status 1100) but was growing concerned because my salesman said he wasn't positive that my order was placed (on 10/29) with an open allocation. I thought this was a black & white issue - either you are a dealer with an open allocation to order a Camaro or you are not.
To have a backup plan, I went to a second dealer today. He talked to his ordering guy and told me this: "there is not a single dealer in the entire country that has an open allocation to order an LT RS right now - today that is". He said allocations are not just at the model level, i.e. allocation to order a Camaro, but are at a lower level of detail - in this case you need allocation to order an LT RS. And nobody has it right now - GM has effectively shut down all allocations to order LT RS, supposedly due to the aforementioned constraint. It's a waiting game to see when GM will open up allocation for LT RS.
For those of you who are experts in this area, does this information sound accurate? Thanks.

I only had ss's to order and all but one got pulled. I will have 3 open spots late next week, and 4 the week after.

There is no constraint yet (This could change Thursday), thus they still should be able to go in.

Scotty, what do you mean by "pulled"? Is that status 2000?

What do you mean by "go in"? Is that status 1100? I know they'll get there - my order is there. But it won't go to 2000.

And basically you are telling me that what I heard today from the dealer is a load of crap? There is no constraint yet? With all due respect, there is a lot of evidence that the constraint for LT RS is real and it is effective now. The ABM constraint is not here yet, that's different. Are you talking about the ABM constraint or the LT RS constraint?

Scotty, thanks for clarifying what you mean by order "pulled" and order "get in" (former = 2000 and latter = 1100). However, you did not answer my specific question on the constraint. When you say there is no constraint YET, are you talking about LT RS constraint or ABM constraint. These are 2 different things.

I have a copy of a memo dated 10/27 from GM - ref no. Marketing/ Product Information/ G_0000041540. Two key points:

1. ABM constraint in NOT effective yet; last DOSP cycle to submit order for ABM begins Thu. 11/5 and ends Tue. 11/10. After 11/10, ABM will be on full constraint and removed from Order Workbench configurators and the Order Guide by the middle of Nov.

2. LT RS constraint (V6 models 1EF37 and 1EH37 with RPO code WRS) started for DOSP cycle starting Thu. 10/29 (that means it's in effect NOW). This new constraint will significantly limit the availability (0-10%) of the LT models with RS for the next 5 to 6 weekly DOSP cycles.

Do you have something from GM that supersedes #2?

Spoke to Becky Doyle today at Rodgers Chevrolet and she was very helpful with info. She said only 95 LT RS allocations were granted this week/ made it through the constraint - that's for the entire country. Congratulations if you were one of the lucky 95. Unfortunately, I was not one of them. My dealer said Tuesday 11/10 is likely my last chance to get pulled for an ABM order.

My dealer also suggested that I open a case number with GM customer service - to plead my case. So I did so and was able to convince the rep to expedite my case. He promised the right people would see it and I would get a call on Monday. We'll see.

I also have been posting to the "Ask Fritz" Forum (GM Chairman), pleading for GM to institute a policy that all orders for ABM, if placed by 11/10, get built. If GM truly believes in their new mantra, "putting the customer first in everything that GM does", then the only conclusion that they could reach is that this is the right thing to do by their customers. Interestingly, I got an email at the end of the day from a woman in the executive office. She said due to the nature of my question, it would not be answered in the public forum, but they wanted my contact information so they could speak to me by phone to discuss it. So I provided my info ... hopefully it will bear fruit. Wish me luck!

Becky is correct. National availability for this week is 95 LT/RS combo, 2370 ABM and 1495 SS. It is impossible to see who got the gems, unless they fess up here. I got the ABM (2) but not the others

The 95 refers to the LT/RS constraint.

Allocation and contrained options are different. Allocation refers to the number of vehicles you can order in that weekly cycle. Constrained options are passed out across the dealer network. This week only 95 vehicle builds can be an SS/RS combo whereas several thousand ABM cars can be built. The luck of the draw determines if you get one, both or neither.

I ordered an ABM 1LT on 10-22-09 and as of 11-5-09 I am at 3000 with a TPW of 11-23-09. Does that mean I will be able to get my car in that color. I am so nervous.
