Tooners will say just retard the timing so you can run more boost but what they don't understand is you are getting further from MBT making the engine inefficient.

Addition of a better intercooler brick will help hold off the climbing of IAT Some maybe equal to running the stock on with 18% pulley

With the 22% the supercharger will still be producing more heat then with the 18% pulley.

The intercoolers are so small they will have a hard time dealing with it for a 1/4 mile.

We want to cross the stripe with maximum power which is only achievable by efficient combinations.

For example you will leave the starting line with more power but will cross the strip with less.

Ted.
Makes total sense. Thanks Ted!

Also Ted, whats max RPM shift point/fuel cutoff you recommend on a LSA with stock cam and valvetrain? Hearing mixed thoughts. Some say you can go up to 6500 while others say stay at 6100-6200
