Resolved my “Service Stabilitrak” issue, maybe, probably, on 2011 SS Convertible. Started months ago, I believe soon after hitting a bad pothole in the road. Checked battery grounds, sensors, etc repeatedly with no success. But, I just realized that I had not checked one battery cable connection in the fuse box in the engine compartment - and lo and behold it was very loose. So pretty sure my issue was coming from that all along. Tightened it up and a little blue loctite, no more Service Stabilitrak alerts.

GPI ported intake/tb/heads, Tooley springs, CHE trunnions, Callies rotating assembly, Diamond pistons, GPI SS3 VVT, ATI 10% ud damper, Circle D 3800, Kooks ceramic coated lt's with green cats, Mishimoto rad & oil cooler, Derale trans cooler, Holley efi rails. DSS driveshaft, trutrac with 3.91's, G-Force renegades, Hendrix solid cradle bushings Bmr: poly diff bushings, Strange adjustable coilovers, sub frame connectors, ZL1 npps, controlled with a vac pump & mac boost control solenoid.

It's not so much "What did you do to your Camaro Today" versus "What did my Camaro do TO ME Today.
Was at the local Lapeer Cruise on Monday, and car was hard to start when I left, it took 4 attempts. Got home, hooked up the HP Tuner's VCM Scanner, and saw that I have a P0496 Code - "EVAP Flow During Non Purge Condition". I'm hoping this may be a root issue why the car is hard to start, and hope it is as simple as the Solenoid on the Evap Line under the hood is bad, and not the one at the Fuel Tank Cannister. That one is almost impossible to get at w/o dropping the Cradle. It may explain why when I pump the Pedal it will start, as maybe that air's out any loaded up and trapped vapors in the Blower. Who knows - open for suggestions. |
