I saw this and im really curious if its a ZL1 or SS. The front bumper appears to be the ACS T3, GM GFX kit all the way around. The center console has the ZL1 PTM buttons but the steering shaft is black. Also has a 2010 radio but has a framless mirror and 12+ steering wheel. Looks like corvette brakes as well. Really hard to tell what it started life as. Either way so much custom stuff its really awesome build.

This is the video about the man that built it, well worth watching. This guy was amazing at detail and thought. Cletus got the deal of the century at 15K.

According to another video, it started out as a 2012 2LT with manual transmission.

Would this by any chance constitute the destruction of a perfectly good 5th generation Camaro?

An interesting piece of engineering. Approx 300 hp so probably a lot of fun to drive. I just wonder how difficult/expensive parts are to obtain along with special tooling etc.

The other video about the build said the guy spent around $100k on parts not including the cost of the car and then about another $100k worth of labor (though the builder worked on and built turbine engines for others so he was able to do the labor himself).

I woulds say no. The lights work, doors & trunk open & it runs. Let's see some pics & videos of your car. Just click manage attachments. Do you even know who Lawrence Garrett Mitchell is?

It's a novelty. Not much more. Look, I get the vision and Stick-to-itiveness, but it's a lark, at best. RIP, Troy. But gimme a fat cam and blower any day.
