That was the difficult part, finding a spot in the system that could fit them without hitting anything or being too low.

I, however, am still young and am thinking about putting V-bands in so I can swap out the resonators for straight pipes to get more pops and bangs...
Very cool, thanks! And yeah, that area does look to be the only area they would fit. Oh, and yes, I do really like my pops and crackles when decelerating.. One of the reason I haven't done anything as of yet! And in my subject line "getting old", I was referring to the LOUD, not my age. lol. I'm only 68, still a puppy according to my "older" friends. hehe..

And here I am waiting for Corsa to send mine mid July. I am only 44 but will see how long my neighbors will take for them to complain about it. Mine won’t be a daily driver so hopefully they won’t.

Best of both worlds. lol. Like I said, I'm not concerned about cruising sound, and going up normally through the gears, it's that very loud WOT throttle noise and raspyness I'm getting tired of. And as for resonators, I tried to put some in the Flowmaster catback I used to have before this one, and there just isn't anywhere to put them without any under car interferience. Not enough room. And yeah, I do have cutouts, QTP's..

Man, thank you. This post cleared some many questions I have for when I finally install my convertor. I use my paddles almost exclusively and I have had a hard time picturing in my head how the paddles would work with the convertor. What's funny is I have also been thinking about quieting the car down. I love my Corsa Xtreme, but I am starting to think the only reason I still tolerate the insane loudness is because it cost me near $2k. I'm pretty sure I want a totally different sound, something deep. I have heard it on a few Camaros and they always seem to be running Magnaflow setups of some kind.

Haha, cool. Granted I like the sound, it's awesome, but just at WOT she attracts way too much attenetion, just want to knock it down a tad. And my neighbors really LOVE my Camaro and the way she sounds! They are all NASCAR folks, and Harley folks, and a couple of them are old school hotrodders too..And mine also isn't a daily.. Weekend fun car now..

Yes sir. If you do the stall converter and just tune the trans for the converter, in manual mode it will act just like is does in sport and drive, meaning it will still be "unlocked", reason I say that is when we did my converter, my tuner told me he enabled "manual auto lock" in the tune so I could drive the car in manual mode without the converter slipping and it getting hot. And the only reason for sure I know this is when I installed the LOD intake I found a local tuner here that retuned my car, converter and all, and he didn't enable the "manual autolock", and when driving it around the trans was getting very hot, 220-223 all of a sudden, and slipping ALL the time in drive, sport AND manual, and I couldn't get it to cool down much in driving anymore, it would only lockup at WOT!! I took it back to him and had him reinstall my original tune on the trans, and all went back to normal trans wise, temps, lockups and all, but it was still set for the 3200 I used to have, so I called my tuner because I now had the 4500 in there to see if I could drive it down 185 miles to him to have it tweaked for the 4500, and he said yes, just don't get on it. He adjusted the tune on the trans for me for free, and so far so good. So when you do install the converter and tune it, make sure you do enable the "manual autolock".. Hope this helps you out too..

I live in a townhouse so my neighbors are as some would say nut to butt. I had a roommate once with a Harley with fishtail pipes and he would leave for work at 5am. We came home to a note on the garage door complaining. We told them it isn’t going to stop but told them he would push it out the garage and go right away versus driving it out the garage and wait for garage door to close.

Granted I love the sound at idle, and just cruising through the gears normally, but like I said, she is very wicked loud at WOT! I'm looking at these two mid mufflers, had the Magnaflow before at one time when I was straight piped before my first catback, liked the sound, and I know it fits nice, but it is only 2.5 inch in and out, do I want that in the middle of my 3 inch catback? Or should I go with this Dynomax mid muffler that is 3 inch in and 3 out. Would that be better. Thing I'm wondering is if the Dynomax will fit as it is .75 wider, .50 taller, and 5.0 longer than the Magnaflow which is 20x9x4. I have had Dynomax mufflers on her before, and they sounded great. Just not sure about what I should do on the mid muffler. Thanks all.

I'm a fan of my Solo Mach XL catback. It has a nice "old school" muscle car rumble, and can be loud at WOT, but cruising speed allows you to hold a normal volume conversation.

Unfortunately, Noweeds is no longer making kits. They announced it a few months ago.
