Kooks, AMR, Dynatech Headers

I am ready to purchase my headers and need some advice from those who have headers installed and or installers.

I want the 1 7/8 Headers w/ high flow cats - Have the Corsa cat back.

So do I go with Kooks, American Racing or Dynatech Supermax?

Price being equal....... who do you recommend and why.

Thanks!!!!

We prefer ARH on all the cars we build, and use Dynatech as a cheaper alternative based on customer budget. Just my 2 cents.

Why do you say they are better? Without any proof that is really just your opinion.

Kooks ftmfw! I put them on both my camaros and they are absolutely top notch. A cinch to install on the 5th gen, too. I didn't even have to mess with the steering shaft like with the arh's. All are good headers, but My 4th gen experience with kooks made it a no-brainer for my 5th gen.

ARH are my preference. you can`t go wrong w/ Kooks either. Those 2 brands are better than the others in my opinion.

Not to pick on you, you are entitled your own opinion, but this line of thinking is why most products for the 2010 Camaro are overpriced. Price has nothing to do with quality. All you're paying for is a name or a label, you're not necessarily getting better performace. Do better quality products tend to be more expensive, yes I won't disagree on this. But not ALL quality products come with a big price tag. This is why I want to see a header comparison to put this all to rest. It may be that ARH does outperform, but there is no way you or I or anybody on this forum can honestly tell us.

If anyone researches these three header brands we'll all agree they a top quality and fit as they should. In my mind the only thing that separates them is cost and performace. Performance is the only unkown.

I have ZERO experience with ARH's but have lots of experience with KOOKS Headers and they are top notch!! Have used many sets of KOOKS on small tire 5.0 cars running in the mid 7's at 180+MPH with Prochargers.....

I installed the Dynatech's on my car yesterday. They quality, fit, and finish are excellent. I easily installed them on jackstands, and had no problem at all. I bought them because I couldn't justify spending the extra cash for ARH as they are IMO a similar product.
