Today, I did the grinding for the caster eccentric kit and got it all fitted. I also snaked the oem front sway bar out, and snaked in the new Pedders bar. I don't know which was more difficult. Both kinda sucked, lol.

Ordering new front control arms for it now, all 4, the bushings in mine are tired and the other ends are very free moving, not sloppy yet though.

Tomorrow I'll change the transmission fluid, flush the brakes with new DOT5.1 fluid, pull the heat shield to check the jxb center support since I'm under there, and give everything else a good once-over.

Of course, oil change, air filter, and gonna go ahead and do plugs/wires.

Once I get the diff back it goes in for an aggressive street alignment, then she should be ready to rip.
Somebody's been busy!! Hope you get the dif back soon, and installed so you can enjoy the fruits of your labor!!

Yeah, it's time to push. I have the Big Bend Open Road Race coming up in 3 weeks, then a track day on May 3rd assuming I get the car back home from BBORR unscathed. I just figured while I had the car blown apart front and rear it was a good time to just go thru it all.

I'm really looking forward to seeing how she does with the 4.10's. Been wanting to do that for some time. The rear end started howling a little bit on deceleration so that was the excuse I needed to pull that trigger.

I had 4.10's in my blown mustang, really liked them! Bad for traction though, I had to buy some DR's to get anything stuck to the ground. lol. Andrew, (acammer) is running 4.10's on his manual car.. He likes them.

After 11 years, I removed the Coverking seat covers today. The foam was starting to disintegrate anyway but they did their job. It revealed an almost factory-like, pristine leather seat!

On recommendation of CamaroDreams76 and 1JEWELDSSRS, I swapped out throttle body for ported TB! I went with new one from Katech. Great recommendation guys, I am very happy with this mod! Have only logged about 30 minutes on it. Gave it a chance to relearn... seems to still be figuring out idle speed (sometimes jumps to 1K rpm). Throttle response definitely improved! Notice it in rev matching. And honestly, I would swear there's a bit more there at WOT above 3K rpm. Also a bit more intake noise with more of a "howl" sound? Am I imagining all this, or possible with a ported TB? I do feel power more readily accessible. Bottom line, car is even more fun to drive than it was this morning!

Oh, and only took 10 minutes and got to peek inside intake manifold. Catch can working good!

Very cool my friend!! Glad you got it, installed it and it turned out to be a bonus! With mine I didn't notice any "noise" from it because I already had a CAI on there that made the intake sound massively cool. My TB's biggest thing I noticed was the extremely better throttle response. Night and day difference.

Great choice! If the budget allows it, I'd go with Katech every time.

The howl is probably something else as the goal is to smooth out incoming air, but the response time and reduction of tip-in/out delay is real.

Just took mine off the original IM to slap onto a GPI rod mod they sourced from a C6 GS. Originally went to change out the VLOM solenoid valley cover to fully disable DOD mechanically after doing so in software.

Will this require an update to my Jannetty tune?

Not sure the cost of the Katech TB but it had Bo White port my stock TB and it made a great improvement !! Also have ported rod mod!
