jakefeb3,
I paid for mine in full also. I got the 1SS because that was what I could afford. I know it won't be a 2SS but you can still get everything that a 2SS has. The one thing I may get is the guage package. Its your car! add anything you want.
Its kinda cool that there really aren't that many 1SS cars out there. I saw the numbers a while ago and of course can't find them again, but the 1LT,2LT,and the 2SS have a lot higher production numbers than the 1SS

Where in the world can you 'officially' get the aux gauges for a 1ss? I have seen a few 'used' aux gauges on ebay, but thats kinda sketchy. I dont even know if those will work with my car. Do the dealers offer this as an accessory or something? I really want the gauges.

[QUOTE=SirZoltan;1162535]Camaro Junky...

Are you talking about some kind of general discount or just a discount if you finance your car? I'm a member of 2 CU's so if there is some kinda discount that would be really awesome. Please let me know.

Also, the car is basically almost here - isn't it a bit too late to ask my dealer for a discount? Shouldn't I have done this at the beginning? I mean if its possible I'm willing to do just about anything to save some dough $$.

Thanks,

I saved 1200 with the C.U.discount on my 2SS/RS. Go to gm.com/creditunion

Question: So once the train-car is at the final railyard, and is waiting to be delivered to dealer... How long (estimated) does it take for it to get to the dealer from the rail yard? I figure some of you would know since you already got your cars

jakefeb3,
I already talked to the dealer about the guages. you can get them from them and have them installed by them. I can scan the page in and email it to you if you want. The price I got was around $400.00 for guages and install. If you want, email me and I will send you the info. From what I understand, it is a pretty easy install.
Face still hurts, I think I was grinning while I was a sleep
