You could get you a sign for you doors that say This is an SS/RS and it is meaner and cost more than and damn LT/RS.

Uhhhhh.... OK. What I can't seem to get past, is why do you care what a car (that you didn't buy) should or shouldn't have on it?

I guess there are some people who really do want to be like everyone else? Wear the same clothes, have the same hair-style, drive the same car. Wasn't there a movie like that? Oh yes, it was called "Single White Female".

For the last time: the Camaro is hot because it *IS* different from every other car. The fact that you even have a Camaro means you think the same as me. You should only be having this discussion with me if you drove a Camry, and the fact that you don't get it is a big joke.

If you can afford an LS, then you can afford an SS - either by working longer and saving more, or by buying second hand. We are all the same here, so the self-righteous condemnation in this thread is misplaced.

look back at the Origonal Z28 in 1967, on the outside it looked no different than a 6 cylinder car. even came with dog dish hubcaps... the COPO Camaros were the same way, unless you added options that could also be added to any other Camaro... this is no different and still is part of Camaro heritage..

Very strange insult for someone who bought the RS package. So why did you buy the RS package?

I bought the RS because I wanted the colored ditch molding and HID lights period not to impress anyone. I think the colored ditch looks better on the ABM, if I had bought yellow, white, or black I may not have ordered it.

So if I understand you correctly you only want appearance changes? Personally I think its enough to only have the differences they do have. If you start having changes that alter the appearance to much you might as well have a name change also. Do you find it hard to comprehend that some of us bought the car we wanted and didn't care what anyone else thought?

maybe instead of having "SS" on the back in red, we can get EmblemPros to make "$$" in green...

I drive a 2000 Camry as well as the 2010 Camaro.

From what I can tell, what you think is that because you spent more for the V8, you would like there to be a more discernable difference because you bought that. Maybe they should have done the Z28, Transformers 2 Bumblebee hood.

While my 2000 Camry is a cookie cutter type of car, I did make some additions to the car when I first bought it to make it mine. For example, I got the spoiler and it came with the 7 spoke rims and the sunroof.

I then made updates last year to the Camry, that impressed the guys at the dealership. Black Halo headlights, fog lights, nav system with backup camera and clear rear turn signal lights.

I appreciate a good debate on a topic, truely I do. However, your tone (whether intended or not) is coming across as very condescending. Thus... *dramatic sigh and pose worthy of Gone with the Wind* the temptation is simply too great for me to reply with anything less than...

I don't understand why it's not okay for Chevy to offer (basically) the same car with 2 different engine sizes? Of course you're going to pay more for the v-8 engine. I didn't want a v-8. I have no need for that kind of power. Should I be punished for that by having to buy a less attractive car? Nope.

PLEASE!

People... fellow Camaro Lovers! Get over the petty bickering.

What does it matter if you have a LS, 1LT, 2LT, 1SS or 2SS??? The RS package is NOT a status symbol! OWNING the best car on the market is enough!

What do you guys do??? "Hey look another camaro... Hey dude, My Camaro is better than yours because I got a sunroof and you didn't!" Get real! Look at all the rally gathering pics and see crowds of people hovering ove ALL CAMAROS! V6, V8, RS, Stripes, no stripes.... it doesn't matter!

You bought the car you wanted! Be happy with it! I have friends on this site I have NEVER met and we LOVE our cars!

Sure there are rich people (or rather, people in a better financial situations) that are on here and people that are bearly making a living (Thank God I am in the lower middle of those ROFL ). We all have one thing in common!!! We LOVE the Camaro! I have mine and it IS SPECIAL! It is like NO OTHER! It is MINE! Sure it would be nice to drop another huge chunk of cash for the ground effects, painted stripes, custom... whatever... I can't afford to do it.... yet. Maybe one day.

Anyway.... I wouldn't care what KIND of Camaro you have... I would still say AWESOME CAR to whomever was driving it!

Thanks for listening to my two cents!
