I did not go with Sweeney here in Y-town because they would not give me GMS on my car.

Also, they did not seem interested in dealing with me. They wanted $1,000 non refundable and stuff.

I went with another dealer, who was great and willing to give me GMS.

I think it is a different Sweeney. Not sure. I am from Y-town originally! I just had my 'maro up there last weekend and did a drive through Sweeneys. They had 4 Camaros and a bunch of salesfolks were outside looking at a summit white with orange rallys as I drove through. Who did you buy from?

I hear you can pull the fuse on the LS3 also but I too am a coward. My car runs good enought for me!

Ok, first off where is this fuse you guys speak of cause I will take one for the team and try it and let you know what happens. Thats what warrantys are for right?

Second, I stumbled across the PWA friday night open house party thread and it turns out that not everyone knows the secret of holding your traction button, the one in front of the shifter down for 8 seconds to turn all the trac crap off. I have done this a few times and it will blow your mind. In fact I will get pictures of my latest masterpiece from Sunday. If you have a 2SS I know personally that these cars will spin all the way through 4th. I had to stop there because the wife was about to kill me and I don't want to put new tires on a car with 1,000 miles on it.

Maybe we should think about doing a group buy on rear tires. Maybe Tire Rack would give us a good price.

Hi Darth emma, yes, hubby (Darin Morgan) http://www.camaro5.com/forums/member.php?u=12978 has done this several times. He's a member on the forum, you can private message him if you want more info. You have an LS3 (manual) right? I have heard to do the "pull" on the LS3 you also have to disconnect the negative battery cable... Not sure where I saw it but do a search, you may find something. let us know if it makes a difference. If its just a fuel thing, my car has had 93 in it since day one. I went with the dealer to the fuel station for the initial fill up.

The fuse pull won't work for me since I took the car to the gas station myself with the dealers PO and filled it up myself. I thought I was being crafty when I filled it up with 93 and when I returned to the dealer with the sales guy said, "I forgot to tell you to get the 93", I just smiled and said thats what I got. I did do some research today on the matter and most people recomend just taking the car to the dealer and having them reset it. So far though there isn't any hard proof that it will make any difference. One person did say that the car will actually reset itself when it reads the oxygen sensor. I am going to buy some octane boost and run it through then use the 93 and see what happens.

I hope everyone is having fun with their Camaros. Sorry I’ve haven’t posted here in awhile. I’ve been traveling, working and have been internet challenged. I’ve mostly only had my BlackBerry to browse the internet and it is painfully slow and inadequate. I was in Las Vegas the first week of the month attending SEMA and NYC last week on business. I’m home this week and then off to Canada just before Thanksgiving. I have a couple weeks worth of Camaro5 threads to catch up on.

Jrhaus76 – Congrats getting selected for the Camaro calendar. I see you’ve added the Hurst shifter & skip shift eliminator and are having more fun wearing out your tires. I need to decide if I want to use the Hurst or MGW shifter.

Drew10 - Welcome to the Ohio thread. I still have my 1976 Type LT. Yeah 2nd gens!

CamaroSS_LS3 – Thanks for the 2nd generation pics.

Bartking – I’m trying to get used to your new avatar yet. It is too dark to see the RJT. Have you picked a plate?

Darth_Emma – Welcome to the Ohio thread! I think painted stripes are the way to go.

SilverIceman – I haven’t had any window problems but I was thinking there were other threads about windows problems. Has the problem re-occurred?

Crazyd – Welcome to the Ohio thread. The supercharger is looking good. Be sure to post pics with the polished one when it arrives. I’ve been thinking about a supercharger for mine.

GC-Camaro – A group buy on tires…. hmm….it might be a good idea. I’m not ready yet though. My Dad travels to Indiana occassionally going by the Tire Rack warehouse.

SEMA
I could not believe how many 2010 Camaros were at SEMA. It seemed like every other space had one. I hope everyone looking for pics got their fill from tribone’s and many others posts here and other internet sites. When I’m walking around I kind of get irritated by people taking pictures so I didn’t take any myself until the last day. I’m not going to post my pics unless someone is looking for something specific and want to know if I have it. Below are links to some documents if you are interested.

I liked the looks of the Edelbrock supercharger... very nice.

Someone told me that of the three Camaros with LS9's, the Fesler Mose one was not running and was pushed in.

It seemed the T-Rex grilles were used on a number of the Camaros though I generally didn't like most of them. I think many if not all of the T-Rex grilles are meant to go over top the existing grill. I did like the Chroma and Lingerfelter grills (except for the center emblem).
