Octane makes difference?

I am comparing Maggie before/after dyno sheets of cars where 93 octane is available and CA cars with similar upgrades but running only 91 octane (most we can get at the pump in CA) and there I see a big difference in #s.

Yes you can see a difference...
Youw ill be able to run slightly more timing with a better octane rating, which can result in better HP numbers.

I had crappy gas in my car when it went for tuning, and we had to pump it all out, and put in better gas, then the HP went up 12 due to timing.....That was a big difference as we were only tuning for Long-tube headers!!!

That being said.....
If you tune the car with 91 in it...You can still run 93 without causing any damage...but I would not recommend the other way around.

^^^^+100
more boost , more timing , leaner AFR
Higher octane is full of win !
