Far from a downer, just being realistic. Lutz runs his mouth before he thinks. The higher ups have already made a statement about that. I don't believe the guy what so ever. I wouldn't doubt the caprice being a cop car only, as I have already stated, but it will not be released to the public, as I have also stated.
As far as the TT v6, I don't think it will happen. It could, but who knows. I believe it will be a FI V8. |

The article never said a TTV6 Z28. It simply said that a TTV6 is possible in the camaro...
Whether you want to take Max Bob's word for it or not. It is still very possible... I don't think TTV6 automatically equals the Z28... FWIW.

"Lutz hinted at the possibility of a production version of the boosted, 425-hp V6 Camaro GM created for Jay Leno"
Im trying to figure out what exactly the point would be...... Anyone have any good ideas? |

No way! warranty issues alone makes it impossible. Imagine what a motor that would handle (within intelligent warranty decisions) twin turbos would cost?

I used to be Dragoneye...

No, the current V6 Camaro can handle that....
But Ford apparently intends on putting the "EcoBoost" engine in the Mustang... THIS is what GM wants to counter...or cut off, I think... "Perhaps" coming from Lutz is like "IF" coming from Number 3... ![]() It's certainly possible, and if the LNF is any indication, GM knows its way around performance turbocharging. I look forward to seeing what they can pull off with a twin-turbo Camaro.

All I know is that if they put a twin turbo in the V6 camaro then it has to outperform the SS off the line or else its a waste because why would someone pay the extra $5-$10k for the twin turbo V6 when you can just buy the 8 cylinder stock.
